Just over a Month - Liking Results! 55 Year Old Female 10 Areas Cool Sculpted - Atlanta, GA

ORIGINAL POST

I am posting this a month post treatment on...

Fiftyandfab
WORTH IT$6,000
I am posting this a month post treatment on flanks, upper and lower abdomen and inner thighs (all in one day) then 2 weeks later I did outer thighs. Let me just say: this is NOT A QUICK FIX! Although I expected it, the swelling I had- feeling like I was about 3 months pregnant immediately then ever so sloooowly going down (it felt like forever!!!) was really hard! I had to make some major wardrobe adjustments to conceal my belly. That said, just now, and at the same weight I started, I am beginning to see good results and I like what I see. At this point I look a bit better than I did pre- procedure, and I'm told results can go on for two to three months total!
I'm not going to into great detail on the process itself as I feel others have described it well. I did have some numbness and nerve twinges. I was given a Rx for GABAPENTIN for the nerve issues post- procedure and it helped a LOT- it also make you drowsy so it helped me sleep. My skin was very sensitive as well. I did wear high waist spanx for a week 24 hours a day. I couldn't stand the feeling of clothing brushing up against my skin, it helped conceal a some of the swelling plus stopped the "jiggles". Getting them on and off was ouch, however!!! I was advised not to take anti-inflammatories as well, which was hard as I have arthritis. But I am stil refraining and using Tylenol.
As to results. Not much difference in inner thighs... but was told that likely would take 3 months. Outer thighs, on the other hand, I am seeing some results already. My belly, as I would call it "pinch a thick inch and a half" when sitting, has gone down to a thin less than an inch (very unscientific, I know). Not where I want to be yet, but am hoping with more time it will continue to go down. Flanks are hard to say.i think less, but again, not as dramatic as my lower belly.
As to resuming "normal" activity the same day that I have seen advertised: hogwash!! No way, at least with the 8 areas I had done all at once! I didn't feel up to anything but low level activity for a week, then gradually better, with a outdoor woods 2 hour hike at day 10. I was a bit worried about that, but it was ok. I am now back to more routine rigorous exercise, hoping to lose that "last 10".
I will continue to update...and if I have the nerve, post pictures (lol). Feel free to ask questions!

Did you change your diet or do any other workout?
June 20, 2016
Hi! I did not change anything. The results were from the procedure only, just a month in. They say it takes 2-3 months to see full results. Since the post, I started exercise (walking and interval walking) plus body weight exercises to build muscle and am a week into the "every other fast" eating plan: one day 500 calories only, next day eat whatever you want). I'm hoping to adopt that as a lifestyle. I have DEFINATELY continued to see a difference in how I look!! Yay! Everything continuing to shrink!

Fighting those hormones and the weight shift! At least there's a good non surgical option now... !!!

Hi, thanks for your post. I am 56 yo and on 6/14 I had 6 areas done: inner thighs, banana roll area, and flanks. I'm a bit sore and tender but don't have any bruising and swelling has been minimal. Am starting to get sharp little jabs in my flanks now and the waistband of my undies is really digging into me. I have high-waisted spanx but they roll down and figure they would cut into me even more. I hope I see some results in a month like you are! How are your outer thighs coming along? I heard that a flat applicator is used for that area but does it also suction? I'd like to have my chin done but I don't have enough fat for that so may try Ultherapy there. Hope you post your updates in the next couple of weeks as we should be seeing more results around weeks 5 and 6 so I'm told.

Lol same experience here with the jabs in the flanks and the waistband issue!! Hooray for fold over yoga pants- I wore them in- folded over for a bit till that issue subsided. As to your question: The outer thighs are treated with a flat applicator, not the kind they use for the tummy that sucks it in! Still looking betters here with full results not for a couple months - I am happy! As to the chin, have you heard of kybella injections? I've read it's quite effective. I would NOT do ultherapy on the chin. I had my neck done 2 months ago (haven't posted a review yet as I am waiting a bit longer) but so far am meh. I did it to go for a more youthful look for my neck. (Thank you tax return for all this!!!). And yes, I will update fully at 2 and three months.

2 months after 10 areas cool sculpted! Happy!!

Fiftyandfab
So...here is my 2 month update! I have lost 2 lbs, so my results are not likely affected by that but WOW! My lower abdomen has shrunk BIG TIME, upper abdomen is showing actual definement, and I can see the shape of my belly button lol!! Outer thighs- where I would "push in" looking for the area to go away, has gone. The only areas I'm not seeing a huge difference is inner thighs. Hoping for better results there. Overall I still have a month to go, before "final results are in! As to my clothes: I feel and look much better. I will not say my jeans are falling off me lol but my shape in them has DEFINATELY changed. Very little left of the "lop over" tummy in front and muffin top in back/sides above the waistband, very little belly bulge where you zip up your pants, and thigh shape looks much better. Very happy! Absolutely is motivating me to keep up with my diet and exercise program to get where I really need to be. Again, questions, feel free to ask! I will post again in 4 weeks!!!
