Day 10 - Definitely asymmetrical

jittter
WORTH IT$3,750
I am now 10 days out and one side is definitely asymmetrical. I am fuller on the left side as you can see in the photos. I envision that a revision may be necessary but I still have more time to heal and see what the final product looks like.
Also, my skin is drooping a little. I still think it looks much better than before and people asked if I have lost weight.

I will be following your progress for sure! I am considering having this done this summer (unfortunately the only time I have available to take off work) but I am really nervous about ending up with saggy skin. I think your day 2 and 4 pictures look great! Swelling is hard to control sometimes and can lead to some asymmetry, but keep wearing the band - I'm sure it will help! Wishing you a great result!!

Day 7 - a little worried

jittter
So, I realize I am in this for the long game and know that a complete result may not be reached for months. I was out and about a lot yesterday so I was not wearing the elastic band as much and I seem more swollen this morning and my chin in sagging more. It looks more like it use to look. I am hoping this is because of the swelling and not how it will continue to look as I heal.
A couple of things I want to say about my amazing PS. The incisions that he made are tiny and much smaller than what I have seen on some other reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by this. They are VERY tiny holes and the stitches dissolve on their own. Two holes at the ears where the earlobe meets the side of my face and one right under the chin. Also, not sure how I missed this, but he also made two stitches where the extra skin would hang down to the muscle under my neck to help hold the extra skin up! I am hoping that will help keep the skin tight and readhere to the muscle.
You can see the swelling and hanging of the chin in today's photos and you can see the incision under my chin to see how small it is.
Still think it looks better than it did though!

Day 5 - More swelling today

jittter
Today I am more swollen - totally my fault because I ate pizza last night and I gave up on sleeping upright. I woke up more swollen than the past couple of days. Wearing the elastic band is getting tiring and my face is sore from wearing it. My ears look terrible from the pressure of the band! I continue to see some asymmetry with the right side being fuller than the left side but am trying not to look at things critically at this point. It is hard not to worry because there is a lot of extra skin to reattach. I am hoping that wearing the band will help with that.
Overall, I am still really happy with the way things are healing and the results so far.
