Still hopeful - Atlanta, GA

I had Cellulaze treatment on the backs and sides...

I had Cellulaze treatment on the backs and sides of my thighs, and buttocks on 5/17/13. I am an active 52 year old woman, 5'9", 133 pounds. I do strength training and cardio 3 times a week. I eat clean. Everyone tells me I'm thin, though I do have grade 2 cellulite, and have since my 20's. At this point, a little over 2 weeks post procedure, I am extremely discouraged. I still have some slight bruising and the backs of my thighs are pressure sensitive, which I expected. What I did not expect is for the cellulite on my legs and butt to look at least 3 times worse than before the procedure . I know results can take "up to 6 months" to finalize, but things are not looking good at all right now. I hope to be able to update with good news later, but I'm afraid I may one of the 25% who do not get good results. Wish me luck please!

I hope the swelling and cellulite look goes down soon!  Be patient, like you said- it can take up to 6 months to see the real results.  Good luck!

2 weeks is not enought time to really evaluate. I had my procedure done February 5th, so here we are almost 4 months out and I am JUST starting to see noticeable results. My friends who have had it done say the 4-6 month period is critical. I would say mine is 50% better and, trust me, I totally understand the desire for faster results, but hang in there :)

I had the procedure on May 9, just a couple of weeks ago...and the only thing I have noticed is the fat transfer I had. He said you should notice a little something after the 1st month, and much better results after the 5-6 month. Trust me... I am looking for quick results myself, but it just won't happen. I paid 8,000, and I can promise you this...if I am not happy after 5-6 months someone will be getting an ear full! Keep us posted! I will post a review soon.

How many areas did you have done?

June 1, 2013
I had cellulaze on front, side and backs of legs. I am 5'5 about 128 and have exercised most of my life. I am pretty muscular but carry my weight in my thighs. At 28 I developed unusual and annoying dimpling on the front of my thighs above my knees. I have tried many things and now at 43 I decided to try cellulaze. At 3.5 weeks post op I'm still very bruised and sore and nothing looks better in terms of dimpling. Doctor said about 4 months. Was hoping to have a little more immediate results for bathing suit season. Against doctors instructions I ran a 10k 5 days out and started back to most of my exercise routine, which may be delaying the healing. The doctor did tell me they have not been seeing as good results on butt and back of thighs as other areas. I will try to stay optimistic and feel better that other people are going through this but seeing results later. Ill keep you posted.

Question for other Cellulaze gals

StuffyD
First, I need to correct my surgery date to 5/10/13. I'm now about 3.5 wks post Cellulaze and I am still seeing dimples from before surgery. Is there any chance these will still flatten out, or could the doc have failed to treat them? The dimples appear to have been in the treatment area but the fact that I still see them makes me wonder if the were "released" like they should have been. Anybody have any input on this? Also, my skin seems loose right now, much more than before surgery. Is that normal at this point in recovery? Thx for any input!

Post op 5.5 wks

StuffyD
Ladies, I had my 5.5 wk post op visit yesterday (6/19/13), and sadly, my legs/butt are not progressing well. The doc says it is still very early, but I could tell he was surprised that things weren't better at this point. He even looked at my pre-op pics to try to show me the progress but honestly, there wasn't much difference. I still have some bulges/ dimples/ valleys where I had them pre-op, which is hard to understand, really. He was bragging about 2 cellulaze patients he had just seen who have fantastic results.. Really? Not appropriate to say that to me with my poor results, it was depressing. Now I'm stuck with bulges/dimples for another 5 months before I can even consider a revision. Just makes me want to cry. I honestly hope for better results for everyone else on this journey. I thought I was doing every thing right, but it doesn't seem to matter. Rrrrrr, frustrating.
