Still hopeful

Had a touch up 1/31/14 on the sides of thighs for some stubborn fat spots/bulges and one butt dimple that never resolved. The Doc said before the touch up I had about 75% improvement on the cellulite from original treatment on 5/10/13. I'm hopeful that the touch up will result in a little more improvement. As with the first procedure, it was super easy and the doc and his nurse were very pleasant and professional. Now I wait for results.....Fingers crossed for smoother thighs in 2014!!!

3 months later

Hey y'all, at 3 months out, I have some improvement in backs of thighs, and a less bumpy butt, but my results on the lateral thighs is very lackluster (lol). I still have some fat "hills" and a valley in between 2 hills on each thigh-- I think these areas were clearly missed or under-treated. I have some staining under the skin but I wouldn't even care about that if the smoothness was satisfactory. I know the staining will eventually resolve on its own, but alas, the lumps and bumps won't! I definitely will be asking for a touch up or redo on these areas as soon as is feasible. At 3 months I'm trying not to be angry about it, but I have laser focus on getting a touch up date arranged !! Nothing will ever be perfect but I feel like a little improvement is possible with a little touch up to the sides. My advice in this would be for everyone to really study the flaws that bother you on your own legs/butt so you can help the doctor when it comes time to mark up the legs/butt for the procedure. I'll post more results later :-)

Post op 5.5 wks

Ladies, I had my 5.5 wk post op visit yesterday (6/19/13), and sadly, my legs/butt are not progressing well. The doc says it is still very early, but I could tell he was surprised that things weren't better at this point. He even looked at my pre-op pics to try to show me the progress but honestly, there wasn't much difference. I still have some bulges/ dimples/ valleys where I had them pre-op, which is hard to understand, really. He was bragging about 2 cellulaze patients he had just seen who have fantastic results.. Really? Not appropriate to say that to me with my poor results, it was depressing. Now I'm stuck with bulges/dimples for another 5 months before I can even consider a revision. Just makes me want to cry. I honestly hope for better results for everyone else on this journey. I thought I was doing every thing right, but it doesn't seem to matter. Rrrrrr, frustrating.

The doctor was very upbeat and cited having previously done 200 Cellulaze surgeries since last Spring (2012). He is considered a SmartLipo expert, and is one of only 3 doctors certified by Cynosure to perform Cellulaze in the Atlanta area (per the Cellulaze website doctor lookup). He has been featured on CNN and CBS for Cellulaze. His nurse is absolutely a sweetheart, and the procedure went smoothly, but there was a point during the laser treatment on one spot where it hurt- I guess the local didn't cover that spot- but the doctor quickly added more anesthetic and everything was fine. I have had the usual swelling, which has lessened now, and bruising which is resolving but not by any means gone. I am still wearing a compression garment. The doctor said to wear it for 2 weeks, but I will continue to wear it for the next 2 weeks, with breaks for workouts. It would just be too hot to wear the garment while exercising!
