BREAST REDUCTION!!! The BEST Thing I've Done for Myself! - Atlanta, GA

Omg! So I had a breast reduction 10 years ago and it was an AWFUL experience PLUS they grew back 2x their original size. Fast forward to now... constant back aches, neck and shoulder pain not to mention spending upwards of $300 on a bra that winds up hurting my shoulders. I was a H in size which is HUGE! Put it this way...one cup of my bra could literally fit on my head! Smh.
Anyway my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to get a double mastectomy
done. After her surgery and loosing both breast she felt awful and of course planned to get revision surgery. Around Northside Hospital Dr. Jenny Chang's name was being tossed around as the "Breast Guru". It was said she could take mangled and disfigured or botched breasts and recreate them into beautiful breast so of course my mom and dad had to check her out. Needless to say they loved her and her staff from the minute they walked in the door. They ranted and raved about how nice they were and how knowledgeable and comforting Dr. Chang was. We were all so excited for my mother to get her new breast and body( she was going to get a little lipo too since Dr. Chang is also an amazing plastic surgeon)! Unfortunately my mother passed away unexpectedly and was not able to proceed. It was surreal and I remember at the funeral my dad introduced me to Dr. Chang and some of her staff and I remember thinking how nice it was for her to actually come to my moms funeral. 9 months later I decieded to go ahead and get a breast reduction but I was terrified of finding a plastic surgeon because my first experience wasn't that good but then I remembered how warm and comforting my mother said Dr. Chang was so I decided to make an appointment for a consultation. I have to admit my mom and dad were so right Dr. Chang and her staff are so kind and warm and made me feel so comfortable. We even shed a few tears because they recognized me and we spent time chatting spoke about my mother. After meeting with Dr. Chang I was directed to the office manager which is Heidi...who by the way is a bundle of sunshine and super sweet. She worked with me and my insurance company to make sure that insurance paid for my procedure. A few days later I was at the hospital hooked up to an IV. Dr. Chang came in and greeted me and made me feel so comfortable. Then it was off to sleepy land. Next thing I knew I woke up and immediately the first thing I felt was....nothing. For the first time in years I didn't have any back pain, I didn't have any shoulder or neck pain and surprisingly unlike my first surgery when I woke up I felt like they were a ton of bricks on my chest, this time when I woke up I actually felt no pain. Needless to say it's been a little over a month and I have AMAZING and perky C cup breast! Oh and did I mention my scars are almost gone!!!! Dr. Chang took out 1100 grams in my left breast and 750grams in my right for a total of a whopping 5lbs!! My nipples are perky and still VERY much alive and sensitive and I honestly feel like it's the best thing I've done for myself in a while. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chang and J.C. Plastic Surgey of Atlanta. My mom would be thankful you took such good care of me and I really appreciate how kind you and your staff have been!! I normally would NEVER EVER post my breast online but seeing is believing!!
