It’s been a month and two weeks since I’ve had my breast reduction. I’m still healing and still loving my new boobs. The scars was ugly, but not anymore..

Doctors Visit Went Well!

I’m overly Happy..... I had my first visit back to the doctors since surgery. I love my healing and the scaring looks great without this tape. I’m still a lil sore, and there’s a lot of swelling... So I’m going to continue to take it easy and relax and heal.. I’ll keep y’all post it when the tape comes off.

Your results look great! I am 21 days out, and I still am waiting to see what size I will be...too much swelling especially my abdomen.

Hi Katbrinson, thank You... they’re still healing and swollen. Yesterday made a week.. I hope your swelling goes down. Why is your abdomen swollen? Did u did a tummy tuck?

you look great!!! I just had my reduction on wed. when did the tape come off? or did you have to peel it off? Also when did you shower and wash your hair?

Congrats on your BR. My tape is coming off on Feb 29, 2018 then I’ll need to apply my Emu Oil to the cuts. Well I was able to shower a week after my surgery just with the help of my boyfriend. I haven’t washed my hair because I had gotten braids.. Make sure you post pics. I’ll be posting more of my pics this week.

you look good, I got clue and clear tape but no problems Iam nine days post op. no itching.

Hi Ladies, my surgery went well for my breast Reduction and now I’m a C/D. My chest feels like 3 bowling balls on it. Also I had to get a special dressings called PICO along with tape. I’ll keep the picture posted soon as I take more.

PICO is suction pump known as Negative pressure wound therapy which draws out excess fluid from the wound and protects the incision or wound. It’s also a pump connected to an absorbent gentle adhesive dressing. The dressing is applied to the wound bed and extre adhesive strip are placed over the outside edge to help hold the dressing in place. When the pump is turned on, air pulled out of the dressing and excess fluid from the wound.

I've never heard of PICO. I just learned something new. Congrats on your surgery! Hope you're not in too much pain. Can't wait to see your results! I'm having my surgery on the 20th. Nervous and excited.

You will be just fine. I didn’t experience any pain, I never taken any pain meds. The only thing I felt was a really heavy chest as if something like an bowling ball sitting on it. Good luck on your surgery.. I can’t wait to see my new breast!

How are you doing? You at least look like you have breasts...my reduction was 17 days ago and I still can’t tell if he left me any breasts...I have a lot of swelling on the sides and abdomen. The recovery has been rough...I hope yours goes better.

Hi, hope you are recovering as well as can be expected! If you've got your drains out already, I bet you are relieved. It will only get better. Drink lot so liquids & get lots of rest!
