ok, so I have been a "realself troll" just like so many of the women on this site. I didn't think I would ever look at so many breasts in my life, lol. I first though about the decision about a year ago after having my implants for over ten years. I had read about the 10 year mark and mentioned it to a friend who also had implants longer than myself. She was not concerned and wanted to keep her implants right where they were. I had had enough of mine, they were 300cc Mentor silicone over the muscle, the right became hard and dog eared after 2 years and was replaced with a 270cc Naturelle silicone.
After having them for 3 years I went from waking 5am every morning to run and then doing a weight workout to being depressed and not wanting to leave my house. I went through menopause and sex was almost none existant. I had extreme sinusitis with excruciating pain across my face and below my skull keeping me awake for 36 hours at times at least 4 times a year. The allergist only found that I was allergic to dust and roaches. I had dust in my house but no roaches, so much for allergies. When I sit in bed they rest on the upper part of my stomach (thorax) and every now and then I have to lift them to take a deep breath. I still want to exercise but can't because I am winded after 3 minutes. I have no will power at all to do most anything......but get these implants gone. I have my surgery date 8 June, 2018 and have already paid for it, so it on. My first of two pre-ops is 21 May and the second 7 June. I will post pictures closer to time.
Thank you to all the lovely and brave ladies who I "trolled" and went bravely before me, you have been an inspiration.

Pre-Op Done

Pe-op was done over the phone as I am travelling to ATL to have my surgery, which is Mastpexy (breast Lift) Liposuction, Implant Removal and Bilateral Capsulectomy. I asked all the questions I had.
Will I need drains
Will you use dissolvable stitches
How do I deal with swelling/pain
Will there be symmetry, as my breast are not one larger, or lospsided, etc
Are there many complications
Can I come same day if there are any problems after surgery
What are the most important things I should be aware of leading up to surgery
I am on no medication, I am fairly healthy except for slight depression, not exercising and bouts of severe sinusitis coming out of nowhere about 4 times a year. I don't eat much meat and they requested a blood test (CBC with differential) because I sometimes cannot donate blood as my hemoglobin levels are low and I have motion sickness. They offered the patch to be put on before I come in for surgery. I got the usual no food after midnight and antibacterial soap 4 days before. Today I received the blood test results to be forwarded. Things are moving slowly ahead, really slowly. Last night I tried to sleep in a nylon bralette, it caused me shooting pain so I took it off and put on a loose cami. When I lay on my side they are one on top of the other which caused pain.....so irritating. This surgery can't come fast enough I just want this chapter to be done. Pictures closer to surgery.

Next week ‘‘tis time I will be just hours away from my pre-op appointment and I cannot wait. It seems that as the time gets nearer the more these saggy old lady things on my chest need to go. I am ready for this to be done, the healing to begin and me to feel like myself again. I am enclosing my before pictures, they have stretched my skin and my aereola. Why did I do this? You know ow ou tik it was a good idea at the time, well yeah, that was me. If I had seen this site over 12 years ago, I wold have never, ever done this to myself.
Here are my before pi’s, left, right and center.

Yah... I hear ya. If I would have known about this site, I too would have never done this to my body either. I had mine 18 years! Had them out 6 weeks ago today. Love my little A’s...was a DD. They’re saggy and a lit5le issymetrical, but I’m not real concerned at this point. Just sooo happy to have them out. Good luck to you in your healing process.

I’m kinda in the same boat wishing I would’ve never gotten my implants. I’m scheduled for removal and a lift July16 2018 I’m anxious but ready. I had capsular contracture on the right breast and now the left. Pain is awful some days. Had saline over the muscle done 4 years ago. Just want to be normal again

I am right there with ya! Good luck with your surgery...mine have ruptured, one extra-capsular...looks black and blue...they have to go...but they were great for a long time after a bad lumpectomy made me get them...

I am post op day 2 and feel great. Very little pain. They’re a bit saggy but a good bra will fix that. I am so happy to have them out. You will be too!
