Selected surgeon in state GA, looked on and off...

WORTH IT$6,500
Selected surgeon in state GA, looked on and off for over 5 years, I really liked one surgeon in MD (Bennett Yang) and one surgeon in Miami (Johnny Franco); with some caution from my personal physician and calculating all the extra costs of out of town surgery, I decided to go local for safety and optimum financial investment. I chose Dr. John Connor, Harvard grad for a lot of the his post and pre-op nuances and mostly of all because he uses the keller funnel technique, exclusively. Pictures to follow. If I had been a resident or closer to either Miami or MD, I would have most likely chosen Franco or Yang.

Good luck! I hope everything goes smoothly :) I'm really glad I stayed local, it's just so much easier!

Thanks so much for your support! Your comments reinforce my decision. I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Connors based on his credentials, specialized technique and a certain innovative yet conservative approach that makes me confident in his abilities to deliver safe and beautiful results.:) take care...I'm not a big poster but I will have a few more comments:)

The new ladies have arrived

Dr. Connors and staff are a tremendously talented group. Even got a phone call surgery night from Dr. Connors himself to check on me. Wow! What a nice touch of bedside manners!

I really am not in a lot of pain. Taking all meds but stretching it out to eventually wean myself off of drugs so I can drive and resume normal activities.

Girls are all covered up and will stay that way ~1 week. They look smaller than I thought they would. They are submuscular that's probably why they don't look their size. And with all help from the website I know I have to wait on the D&F (drop and fluff) to take place.

heyy congrats :) im 2 days postop.. confused over if they go slightly smaller when settling down or larger ? i hope not smaller also lol x

Hey there..I think the shape is weird for a while..they seem to look smaller, but when I touch them they feel somewhat larger...I think over time the drop and fluff process makes them bigger...no worries..just relax and recover Congrats to you too:)!

Eating Post Op and Avoiding the Back Up...

590ccATL
I did not have the usual extensive back-up in plumbing ..I went after day 2 and all is working well since then. I wanted to try to help anyone else if at all possible... my diet is as follows: ready made salads (with turkey, chopped egg, bacon bits - no cheese), yogurt, pork loin steak, gallons of gatorade, berry/fruit teas (warm), turkey bacon...Of course, I am still a little bloated and somewhat gassy - but nothing too discomforting or uncontrollable....hope this helps:)

Note: I also stopped the percocet after day two and supplemented with extra strength tylenol...all is well in the pain department, which is a minimal discomfort depending on how I move without thinking or remembering to take it easy...again, hope this helps you ladies..

Will post new pics after first post-op Dr's Visit tomorrow...Good Luck to everyone...talk with you soon:)

My only comment would is to exclude the Gatorade and replace with coconut water. It's natural and beats any sugared sports drink out there more electrolytes and potassium and not man made

excellent comment...I have never liked gatorade ...was easy off the shelf electrolytes replacement...it's most accessible/familiar... definitely agree with a natural replacement 100% will look for coconut water...and also recommend raisin brand cereal too add to the list....

Agreed for sure...but it's kind of weird that the Docs don't seem to let people know that ..but I guess they want to let people make the best choice for themselves because so many decisions have to be made that may seem to be at the bottom so to speak, at least for some people :) Frankly, I was glad to get a lot of advanced information from this website versus waiting for Docs to tell you step by step as it is already happening...I like to be prepared so I now what to expect..and that is where this site has been invaluable...thanks for help...great advice on the coconut water...I'm sure someone will benefit from this even down the road...I still go back and read people's posts from the past.. I've found everything from great lingerie to health and my recent augmentation.. Again, thanks Ladies ..learning from all of the different ages, U.S. and world locations and perspectives has been enlightening...and nothing negative said anywhere...really inspiring and positive :)
