Hey ladies. I'm doing much much better than last week I'm starting to feel normal again. My swelling is really going down a lot. My pain is at a 3 on a scale from 1-10. The pain is in my back and my inner thighs. I move down to a small garment the medium wasn't tight anymore. I have stop taking my pain meds about 3 days ago. I still haven't say on my butt I bring my boppy pillow with me every where I go. My butt was 45 after surgery but now it's 41.5. It's still big, I like it like this. I'll add a pic.

Recovery is horrible

Sorry ladies I haven't updated my profile in a while. Recovery is the worst. My thighs hurt so bad. Today was my first day of work and I sit at a desk all day, I had to stand most if the day and when I wasn't standing I was in my knees. I tried sitting on the boppy pillow but I couldn't get comfortable and I don't want to kill my fat cells. I kinda feeling like why did I do this, my back. Stomach and flanks still hurt and I really don't see any difference in those areas. I'm still very swollen and I have lumps under my skin the nurse said its scar tissue from the lipo and I just have to keep massaging those area, I do but I'm so sensitive in those area that it hurts to massage. I'm a mess. I don't like the way I look. I cried in the shower after work. Yes my butt is big but I'm thinking is it really worth it. My legs are so heavy and bruised. It takes a lot of effort just to get out of bed to use the bathroom. I don't want to scare any one off, I'm just being real. Everyone experience is different. I keep trying to tell myself I will look much better once I heal, I've been drinking a lot of water and pineapple juice. I also drink protein shakes in the morning. My suggestion to any is don't get your inner thigh lipo'd if u don't have to. The Dr said they did my thighs because I didn't have enough fat. Any way ladies I'll post some pics and update anything I may have left out.

You'll be fine. I promise you a positive attitude will take you very far in your recovery. It's a proven research fact! Anyhow, wear your garment (wearing the board under the garment works great on the abs and flank) even if you don't think you need it. It will help compress the body and shape your body as the swelling subsides. Alternate cold and warm compresses on your sore areas (5 minutes warm then 5 minutes cold etc..) for 20-30 minutes a day. I order this for my patients all the time and use it on myself for soreness, aches and pains and it works wonders! But most importantly, keep your head up. You're alive and you're looking quite fab in your shorts! I pray you feel better soon though. No pain, no gain is the BBL way it seems. I hope eventually your wonderful results will be worth it to you. Take Care!

Hey lovely!! I see this all the time, and I think everyone goes through this stage, even when they think they won't. =) You will feel as lovely as you look as more time passes! You're just in a lot of physical and mental stress and that is causing emotional stress. I know I'll be going through it too when I get mine done, but you are still healing! Keep that in mind! You will get better soon, love, I'm sure of it! You look amazing and it saddens me that you don't feel the same, but rest assured, you are banging, sister!!! XOXOXO Take care and feel better darling!

Hello ladies. I'm doing ok with recovering. I'm not in much pain just really sore and uncomfortable. I got my first lymphatic message yesterday from Tiana at the wellness Sanctuary she great my body felt so good when she was done I actually paid for a package of 4 she coming back Thursday u can't wait. Her number is 678-856-3864. Nothing new, I called Dr J on sunday about my arm he said it was due to the position I was sleeping I also asked him why was my face swollen he said i may me having a reaction to the medication so I took some Benadryl I felt bad for calling him on a Sunday but I was worried. Nurse Geeta called me yesterday and told me to put a warm compress on my arm and that did help but it still feels numb and tingling, she said my face was swollen because I'm laying face down. I'm glad she called to follow up on me. Tomorrow is my one week follow up, I'll be so happy when they take this drain out!!! After my message I felt do good I wanted to get out the house... It was an epic fail!! My niece has a Honda civic it was sooo uncomfortable laying on my stomach in her back seat, I was sweating profusely, and I started to feel lightheaded...I just came back and got in the bed I guess in trying to do to much to soon. I didn't measure myself pre op but my measurements now are 38 32 45. I'll take some pics when I take my garment off. Ttyl
