Need 3rd Asian DOUBLE EYELID SURGERY REVISION? - Atlanta, GA
I had my first double eyelid surgery 27 years ago in Shanghai. It resulted both eyes were uneven. As time went by, both eyelids dropped. However, the right crease was still too high and the left crease was too low. The doctor wanted to lift up the left eyelid and lower the right one but did not work out as a result. He removed some fat from the right eye. I regretted my 2nd revision because the left eye looks significantly older now with multiple creases, the fold was very light. The right eyelid looks even deeper and thicker. I am 45 years old now. He told me with my revision I'd look 5 years younger. Unfortunately, I think my eye look order than before. How to remove multiple creases? Should I consider the 3rd revision? Both photos are within 1 month.

I regretted my 2nd revision because the left eye looks significantly older now with multiple creases, the fold was very light. The right eyelid looks even deeper and thicker. I am 45 years old now. I think your question would best be answered by the knowledgeable doctors. You can do that by clicking the "Ask a Doctor" link when posting.
From a layman's point of view, it seems like a good surgeon would be able to do a satisfactory revision.
If you're willing, it would be helpful to others who are considering surgery if you would name the doctor who did your original surgery and revision so that they can avoid that doctor.
You are very early from this revisional surgery if I understand your post. However, I am not optimistic about your result. It will soften and look better. What I think is that too much skin and fat was removed. You do not live in a place where there are many surgeons expert in revising double fold surgery. Please take a deep breath. So not let anyone surgically manipulate your eyelid for 6 to 12 months while you heal. Study my website to understand what is possible and consider down loading my free ebook on eyelid surgery which you will find on my website.
There appears to be a problem with the ebook eyelid surgery download link. Please let us know when the link has been fixed.
