I love it! Very happy with the results. I have a bad underbite and a weak chin. I would say if you want the quick fix, then go with chin implant. Mine is the sliding genioplasty, moved 7 mm. Doesn't correct the bad bite obviously, but aesthetically it looks almost perfect. (perfection being a corrected bite).

I am also planned to have mine next year genioplasty and lower jaw surgery as I got bad underbite.

That's great, are you doing them at the same time? Make sure you see a board certified surgeon who specializes in the mouth!

Looks good. Do you have tightness when you smile/talk at all?

I'm about at my 2 month mark. A little tightness but nothing crazy. Talking was noticeably weird( to me) for around a month. I'm doing massages of the chin and constantly moving my lips to "stretch" it. It has been working. All in all, it's really not bad, and the pros far out way the cons. I was more worried I would lose sensation in the chin/mouth area.
Thankfully not the case.

This looks AMAZING! It balances your other features so perfectly. I wish I could have had this done, but I had 3 years of orthodontic work that would have been ruined, so I went with and implant. This is probably the best result I've seen with the genioplasty. Congrats!

By looking at your picture again I have decided to go with genioplasty only to add height mainly and some projection. Now I think genioplasty and lower jaw surgery will be too much for me and I mainly hate my chin. Also I don't want to go through orthodontics again. How much height was added in your case with genioplasty? thanks in adavnace

great news! It keeps looking better as time goes by. I can barely feel tightness at this point. I believe 7mm forward, and around 2mm height added. The height was added only because my surgeon went in and saw how recessed the chin was. Initially it was going to be 9mm.
Vertically as well, but it didn't compromise my old look from the front in any way. If anything it made the lip area look better. Good luck!
