Embrace Scar Therapy is a "MUST" After Tummy Tuck - Atherton, CA

I used Embrace Scar Therapy after my tummy tuck 6 months ago and I am extremely pleased with the results. This therapy is very simple yet effective, the tape's contraction design prevents the scar from stretching out and therefore allows the incision to develop into a thin fine line. My tummy tuck was from hip to hip and it required three patches. I followed the instructions and applied one in the center and one on each side to form a vertical C curve shaped line across the lower abdomen. The patches also provided much helpful support and sense of security by keeping the sensitive area firm and protected. It allowed me to stretch my abdomen without fearing of tearing the incision or making it wider. This was a great feeling after I stopped using the compression garment. 6 months later the incision is just a fine line, it is still reddish but that will lighten up as the scar process continues to heal. I have compared it to other ones (my sister had a tummy tuck before me) and mine looks dramatically better than the ones who have not used this therapy. The most important part to me was to not develope a keloid scar or a thick ugly scar across my abdomen. The application was also easy, I was a little nervous at first because it looked complicated and I was afraid of messing it up since the product is not cheap but after viewing the instruction videos and contacting customer support I became a pro after the first time. I personally left the patches on for 10 days instead of 7 and worked perfect, i still had to remove them while taking a hot shower which makes it easier. The first time i used it I had to call customer support because the tape looked wrinkled after removing my compression garment but i was told that it was normal and to not worry about it. I was able to send a picture for reference and they responded almost immediately with useful advice. That's the other part I really liked, their customer service is superb, I have contacted them 3 times and the three times they respond immediately and were very friendly and helpful. All in all, I could not have made a better decision. This therapy should be a "MUST" for all tummy tuck procedures. If we already make the tough decision and invest in the tummy tuck, we should not hesitate to invest a little more to try to make the scar the least invasive as possible.
