Hi everyone, I am a 49 year old mother of 4,ages 31,29,17 and 15. My boys weighed in at 12 and 10 pounds so I don't have to tell you what havoc this has played on my small frame.I am 5'2 and weigh in today at 130, my goal is 120.

I have wanted to have a TT for a very long time however never could afford it raising children, we all know how there needs come 1st which is how it should be! I have never regretted having my children just unhappy with the way my body was left. Well now is my time and I am going to go ahead forward and have this scary procedure done, I am really nervous but have all the confidence in my PS and his staff, they have been wonderful.

Also I just want to thank all of you ladies who have gone through this and shared this journey with all of us, this site has really helped me to be able to swallow my fears to get to the other side. Have posted before pics,Hope to be back with yu and a few days to post more....

Oooh, very exciting. And your mixed feelings are completely normal. When is your surgery? Also, is it possible you've left a few zeros off your price? :) Let me know if you need help fixing that.

I'll be following your journey with interest. It's YOUR turn!

O k ladies I am 10 days post op today and I feel wonderful. This has not been bad at all. Yes I have had some pain but it has been bearable, mostly I have been sore and stiff. Most pain occurs getting up or when I cough, if you have to cough go ahead and be prepared to put a pillow over your stomach and apply firm pressure, this has helped me a lot.I was sent home in a full compression garment and 2 drains. Ps believes that this helps with swelling and promotes good healing. I can change to a clean garment but I will in this for at least 2 weeks along with drains. When drains are removed I may move to a spanx during the day and garment at night for a month.I truly believe I am recovering so quickly due to the fact I have followed all post op instruction to the tee. This list went something like this,1.Take a muscle relaxer 2 hrs prior to surgery, this would keep muscles relaxed and help with pain.
2.make sure to take meds as directed for first 3 days don't wait for pain to take hold.3. Make sure I get up and walk around the house every 2 hr which did not include the trips to bathroom.4.Eat a healthy diet.5. Drink 8 glasses of water a day to help with swelling. So far so good, I hate this garment but I am going to wear it. As soon as drains are removed I will post pics. Take care all and once again thank you ladies that posted stories and pics!! You truly helped me take this amazing ride.

Well it is 3 A.M. in the morning and can't sleep!I am 12 days post op and in pain on right side. This is totally my fault for over doing house work yesterday. The dishes had piled up and I could not stand it any longer. I feel bad that my kids have had to bear the load of work so like a good mom I thought I would get everything cleaned up.Bad Bad mistake so now I am paying for it, so if any of you are new take this as a lesson from me "Don't Do It" As Scarlet always said "There is always tomorrow.

2 weeks post op, got drains out yesterday. What a difference with them gone, can shower tonight, Woo Hoo!!! Big deal since I have had to bath at sink. Still very happy with results however was wishing for a few less stretch marks. I knew Ps could not remove all. Now I have found a new one above belly button. As I continue to stand up straight I feel tightness of the skin, I guess it will only stretch so far, hope this not get worst, was looking forward to a smooth tummy at top.So for now I guess I will have to wait and see as swelling goes down and when I once again have good posture. Here are the new pics as promise. If anyone has any advise I could sure use it...
