I've been researching BA for the past 2 years. I went to my first consultation, but it didn't feel personal to me. I went for my second consultation 2 months ago. At the consultation, my PS used Vectra to help me figure out what size implants I wanted. I chose 397cc silicone under the muscle because it was in the recommended range for my chest width. Once I set a surgery date, I got on RealSelf and started reading people's story , and found some wish boobs. At my pre-op on May 5th, after looking at my wish pictures, my PS suggested 421cc silicone which was still in the recommended range. I was not looking to be too large. I wanted a natural look to fill in the gap of my wide chest. I started as a 34A/32B. I'm hoping to be a full C.

Surgery day!
beachgirl10May 14, 2016
I was originally scheduled to arrive at the clinic at 2:30, but the day of surgery I got a call asking if I could be there at 1. My pre-op instruction were to wash with a special soap they provided the night before and the day of. I also chose to get a nausea patch which I put on before my surgery, and I took a muscle relaxer as required. Once I arrived at my PS's surgery center, I was immediately taken back to sign paperwork, put on my gown, and start my IV. My PS came in to check on me and answer any last minute questions. He also made sure to verify I still wanted to go with the bigger implants (421cc) that he agreed it would get the natural look I wanted with cleavage. The anesthesiologist came in to review my medical history and answer any questions I had. This took about 30 minutes, and then I was headed to surgery. I remember them asking a few questions and then waking up in recovery. I don't remember anything about recovery. I wasn't in pain but the pressure was uncomfortable. I went home in a surgical bra that looks and feels like a sports bra, that they provided. I have to wear it 24/7 for 2 weeks, but if it's too uncomfortable I can switch to a different front closure sports bra. I don't remember the car ride home. I got home and slept for a while. Once I woke up, getting out of bed was awful, but once I moved around I felt much better than I thought I was going to feel. My boyfriend came over, and I felt well enough to eat dinner and hang out with him on the couch. I've been consistent with my pain meds (Demerol-every 4 hours) and muscle relaxers (Flexeril-every 8 hours). I still have on the nausea patch, and haven't had any nausea at all. I highly recommend it! I also have been consistently icing them with frozen veggies. I also highly recommend this because it's kept a lot of the swelling down and it feels good. I also have started drinking tons of water. I feel much better than I expected because I read so many rough post-op experiences. I was expecting way worse.

Post-op Day 1
beachgirl10May 14, 2016
I slept really well last night. I usually sleep on my stomach, so I started "practicing" trying to sleep on my back a week or 2 before surgery. I couldn't make it the entire night like that. I'm suppose to sleep on my back for at least a week, so i have pillows on both sides of me and another one behind me to keep me slightly elevated. I was shocked when I woke up because I hadn't moved. It was surprisingly comfortable. I woke up very stiff so I immediately took my meds. Walking around really helps with the soreness. Getting out of bed is still very difficult. I went down for breakfast and then immediately started icing them. I've been eating very light, smoothies and yogurt, because I'm not very hungry. I've been wearing lightweight zip up hoodies and nike running shorts. My best friend showed up with a movie and my favorite snacks. After visiting with her for a couple hours, I felt well enough to run errands with my mom. I was excited to buy a couple cute bralettes for the next couple of weeks. I hope they fit. Still drinking a lot of water, which I think is helping make the swelling go down. I pushed the pain meds to 4 1/2-5 hours just for pain management. It really doesn't hurt as bad as I thought. It's just heavy and uncomfortable pressure. I haven't looked at them yet, but from what I can see I'm already in love. My boyfriend surprised me by showing up at my house and bringing me a movie, The Choice. Even though I was more tired from walking around so much today, I didn't feel pain or feel bad. I ate pizza and curled up on the couch with him. He thinks its funny I use frozen veggies as ice packs. I took all my meds at 12 and then went to bed.

Thank you for sharing your experience I had my surgery a week ago and still trying to figure out if I like them in terms of size. Requested a big 'C' I have to wait for another month or so before I can tell. Happy healing.
