Dr. Erella not only helped me in a time of need but he took a risk on me when other surgeon's turned me away. I am a 38yo woman with a pacemaker, i am relatively healthy and just needed a boost in my confidence. Dr. Erella saw me as not a risk patient but as a person that he knew could get this procedure under his care and education.

Dr. Erella thank you! I know I am not at my full results yet, but I also know that you handled me with care and I am appreciative.

For Future Smart Lipo patients:
If you think this is a quick get skinny program you are wrong, this is an external fat removal. You have to put in the work before and after surgery. The Dr can not remove the fat that is internal (around your organs) yes the fat can come back if you don't do anything to help yourself like diet and exercise. This surgery should only be done if you are extremely committed to living a new lifestyle not the one that got you in this position to begin with.
Dr. Erella will be honest with you and if you listen to him before and after the surgery and you change your life you will be amazed at how good you look and you feel.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I'm glad you are feeling so great about your results. You're absolutely right, living a healthy lifestyle to maintain results is key -- what are your best tips for diet and exercise post lipo?

Thank you Eva! Realistically I reached out to a Dietician to figure out how I should eat according my body. High protein low carb and I had to drop the soda's I was addicted to soda's. I am a 100% legit water drinker now and that in itself makes a huge impact on your body.
I am lucky my regular physician recommended me to a Dietician and my insurance covers my visits.

I personally think the first step is finding out what your personal body dislikes, for some it's gluten and others it's dairy and then some it's high carbs. If you can find this out you will begin your full transformation into a new lifestyle.
I wish you well and good luck, believe in yourself and you won't believe how positive that will transform you.

Thanks for your reply Dani. You're definitely on the right track -- way to go! Water is wonderful, glad you're forming healthier habits. I love to add fresh fruit to my water and just leave it on the counter — it's like when you go to a fancy hotel and they have the lemon and cucumber water -- you want to drink it...right! I can't wait for your updates. I'm so excited to follow your journey and see your transformation. Did you check in here yet?
