How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

A Good Surgeon for Other Procedures BUT...
I personally do not think Dr. Solomon is the best option for Asian Rhinoplasty. By no means do I think that he is a "bad" doctor at all. Just based on my personal experience with him and my own opinion looking at his Asian clients' before and after photos, I would've wished that I've done more consultations with other surgeons and did not end up going to him and spent non-refundable thousands of dollars for procedures (primary rhinoplasty + chin augmentation) that had undesirable results. Choosing Dr. Solomon was my own mistake.
I went to Dr. Solomon in Jan 2020 with only the best expectations from him based on his public reviews. He is, after all, a well-known plastic surgeon in Toronto. My initial consultation for a primary rhinoplasty was rather short, or at least, was cut short. He was so confident that he knew exactly what I wanted so I just trusted him despite many questions of mine left unanswered.
Fast forward to 1+ year after my first rhino and chin implant, we decided to do a revision (Sept 2021) because of the undesirable results. He persuaded me not to go to another surgeon to fix it and instead let him do it again. As my funds are limited to spend another $15-$18K in Toronto, I let Dr. Solomon do my revision rhinoplasty and give him my full trust again. During my first follow up, I was told by him and his nurse that my case is so complicated and that he did his best to give me the best results but my "thick skin" has limitations to what surgery can achieve.
6 months into it, I still believe the results were undesirable, albeit, slightly better than the first one. I don't seek unrealistic perfection as that never exists in plastic surgery but his work was definitely not par to other surgeons who specialize in Asian/Ethnic noses.
I decided to take a risk and get my THIRD rhinoplasty with another surgeon overseas just 6 months after Dr. Solomon did my 2nd revision. I was told by my new surgeon that I lack definition, height and that I have a droopy nose but he can certainly fix the issues!
I can now confidently say that I am very happy with the results and it's only been 1 month. I have also decided to get my chin fixed elsewhere since that was not addressed by Dr. Solomon either.
Again, this poor review only pertains to my experience and opinion on Dr. Solomon's work on Asian noses. If you are promised a Closed Rhinoplasty (aka if you are Caucasian or Middle Eastern and don't require a graft), you will probably like your results.
Sharing my on-table photos of my previous rhinoplasties by Dr. Solomon VS. my 3rd revision (March 2022) by another surgeon. To reiterate, people's benchmark of "good nose job" differs so do your homework before undergoing such procedures. My new nose, for me, is a result of an excellent Asian nose job.
Good luck!
