Asian rhinoplasty/septoplasty with Diced rib cartilage and fascia

I have always had a wide and bulbous nose that was always called a button nose because it was so short in height. I finally decided to get it done and went right Dr Donald Yoo. I am 11 days PO and I feel great. On day 7 I had my cast removed and I only had 1 small bruise on the side of my nose. I never got black eyes and I didn’t really ever get any bruising. I have tape on my nose and I have another post op visit tomorrow.
I’m really happy so far. My bridge is still taller and wider and my tip is still swollen and more bulbous and taller than the final result, but even swollen it still looks better than my old nose. I can’t wait to see what I look like a month from now! Today I feel like I had a significant improvement in swelling from yesterday, but Dr Yoo said that since I have thick skin that it will take 4-6 wks to have more swelling reduction and a year for the final result.

Happy so far. Still swollen and I’m trying to get used to having a bridge because I didn’t have one before. I didn’t know it would change my eyes so much because now there is a shadow on the sides of the bridge that I didn’t have before because it was so flat. Dr Yoo said it will take 6 months for the swelling to go down. I already really like my result but can’t wait to see the final outcome. The profile is great. The nostrils and shape of my tip is great. Very natural looking and I’m very happy.
