WORTH IT
Here are some before and 2 month post op pictures.
I’m excited to see the small differences in details as I continue to heal.
I am very pleased with the surgical outcome and thankful that my recovery is progressing well. Thank you Dr. Yoo.

ORIGINAL POST
Rhinoplasty and Lower Blepharoplasty with Dr. Donald Yoo
Having a Rhinoplasty has been a steadfast aspiration of mine for over 30 years. Last summer I made the decision to begin the pursuit on finding a surgeon. Initially, I was committed to having my surgery in South Korea. I am Korean and live in NY and have many family members in Seoul and a cousin who is a physician. My cousin and my aunts were great reliable resources on recommending the appropriate surgeons for me. I did have online consults with doctors in Korea, however after consulting with Dr. Yoo I valued and recognized his proficiency in rib rhinoplasty. Dr. Yoo knew precisely how my new nose would properly balance and complement my other facial features.
I had my surgery (rib rhino and lower bleph) the first week of August and just celebrated my 2 month post op! I am continuing to heal and have approximately 60% of the swelling behind me. I had minimal post operative discomfort of all surgical sites. I do have a minor complication with my right eye that is expected to self resolve. Once the nasal splints and eye sutures were removed at my 1 week post op visit, I felt completely capable to carry on my usual daily activities. I am happy with the surgical outcome thus far and look forward to seeing how I look at my 1 year anniversary.Furthermore, I'm thankful that I didn't have my surgery 10-20 years ago, because I would have had a silicone implant with probable complications and/or not the optimal esthetic outcome. I tried to have realistic goals because there are many circumstances that influences the final outcome; surgeon's competency, patient's health and nutrition, anatomy, skin thickness, patient's compliance , follow up care and effective communication and understanding of esthetic goals. I was mentally prepared that I would be disappointed or the possibility of undergoing a revision.

Thank you so much for sharing. I am struggling to find reviews with photos attached. It's been frustrating so far but I have made up my mind that Dr. Yoo is who I'll choose for my primary rhinoplasty. Your nose is looking good and doesn't look too swollen. When will you see final results?
