Finally Got my Nose Done (Primary)
WORTH IT$19,400
Hi everyone I wanted to share my experience so far since it's been so helpful for me to read everyone's reviews on here while I planned and recovered from my surgery!
Overall, I think Dr Yoo and his team did an amazing job during my time with them. I've had surgery before (breast augmentation) and I know it's a lot shorter of a time span, but it was nowhere near as warm of an experience as it was here. Everyone from the front desk staff, aesthetian, PA and especially the nurses, were very easy to speak to and provides everything I needed.
I think the one thing I struggle with the most throughout the entire process this far has been the shock of how big my nose was when the cast came off and slowly watching the swelling go down. I hope it continues because although it's a huge difference from my original nose, I feel like it's a big big on my face and not feminine looking. I understand that it takes 3-6 months to a year for full swelling to go down, but I'm hoping the bridge goes down very soon. I don't think it helps that I have an event next week and a family wedding in 2 weeks that I'm freaking out about.
So here's my photos. Eager to hear what you all think and what your experience has been with swelling. How long did it take, etc? Open to hearing any thoughts about my nose as well lol until the bridge comes down a bit more I don't think I'll be completely happy with it!

Liking my nose
I'm finally liking my new nose! I'm 41 days post op and I know it's pretty early still, but I can look in the mirror now and be comfortable about showing my face to people. It's starting to look natural and not overly big for my face. Super excited!
Still applying the scars gel twice a day to my nose and rib. I've done the nose rinse a couple of times a week just because. My rib is perfectly fine but I want to give it another week or so before doing my heavy workouts. My nose itself is still numb on the tip and nostrils, and my smile still seems stiff. But slowly getting there. I still haven't put makeup on the area where the incisions were made just to make sure it's clean and healing properly.

Ur new nose looks so natural! What made u choose Dr. Yoo? Was ur surgery 19k USA? That’s how much I was quoted.

Thank you! I really wanted to avoid silicone implants and have a doctor who primarily did Asian rhinoplasty in the US (so they're local). So he seemed like the best fit. Yes it was around 19k

Can you post an update? It does look a little unnatural - most likely due to your thick skin.
