Dr Sykes is a truly the best facial plastic surgeon!! No one is ever allowed to touch my face other than him!

I forgot to mention that Dr. Sykes used rib graft to build my bridge and tip. The scar on my chest is quite small and the pain went away after about a week and a half.

Where do I even begin with Dr. Sykes! I’ve been wanting to get my nose done for years but never found the right doctor. I met with 5 plastic surgeons prior to meeting Dr Sykes (one was even featured on a very famous plastic surgery reality show). All the surgeons wanted to give me the typical Asian (Korean) nose job look which I know does not suit me. Asian faces typically have lack of bone structure and a nose with super high bridge & pinched nostrils will not look natural nor balanced (I’ve seen those around LA and it just doesn’t look good in real life at all and unnatural).
Fast forward to meeting Dr Sykes and his amazing patient coordinator, Maria. First, they’re an amazing team and Maria is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She really takes great care of you. Second, I knew dr Sykes was the doctor for me right off the bat. Not only he addressed my aesthetic concerns and recommended me the look that will fit and balance my face, but he addressed my breathing problem immediately (I was a mouth breather and couldn’t breathe trough my nose at all). When I first met dr Sykes I was still a smoker and all the other plastic surgeons I consulted with, deferred to me being a smoker as the reason I could not breathe. But Dr Sykes is an ENT and he knew that wasn’t the case. He said that my nose lacked structured which caused my nostrils to be flat and I didn’t have big airways to begin with. And yes he was correct as all my family members have the same issue.
I had a total of 2 consultations with him before I committed to surgery. He literally made me feel he had all the time in the world to answer all my questions (even ridiculous questions I have to admit lol) as I never once felt rushed. And he even was willing to FaceTime my parents as they’re as neurotic as I am and had a gazillion questions. He answered all their questions and at the end of it, my mom said “yes he’s the doctor for you”
The night before surgery, Dr Sykes called me from his personal cellphone to ask me how I was going and to calm me down as he knows I was a nervous wreck. I really appreciated that and again, I felt I was in the best hands
During the day of surgery, dr Sykes came in early to talk to me and to discuss all the things I wanted done and my concerns. He put me at ease and he even did a little prayer with my family. The pre-op was easier than getting a tattoo (I have ten tattoos) and they even played me Beyonce to calm me down.
When I woke up, Dr Sykes was right by my side and told me everything went great. Maria even paid me a visit, how sweet was that!!! Dr Sykes told my husband to call him on his personal cellphone that night and for us to call him whenever.
Recovery was actually very easy, Dr Sykes didn’t give me the packing inside my nose as it was unnecessary (I didn’t get septoplasty) and being the neurotic drama queen, I literally texted and called him almost all the time for every little thing. He never left a question unanswered or ignored me no matter how ridiculous the Qs were. I literally could easily get ahold of him easier than I could get ahold of my parents and siblings. He truly cared! And he takes the stitches off himself, unlike all other Beverly Hills plastic surgeons where they get their nurses to do that.
I am now currently 4 weeks post op and oh my god!! I can’t tell you how much this procedure has changed my life. I no longer breathe through my mouth like a pug and I feel absolutely amazing! In addition to feeling amazing, my nose looks absolutely incredible!!! Better than I could ever imagine! It fits my face so well as my face now looks very balanced (before it was very wide for my face and no structure) and even my family and friends say I look way better than before and more beautiful. My mom loves the result and dr Sykes so much that she’s going to get her rib rhinoplasty and eye lift done by dr Sykes in a few months, and she was very anti plastic surgery. My husband was also anti plastic surgery but he said I can get anything done with dr Sykes, as he trusts him and know that dr Sykes will never perform unnecessary procedures and will only do what’s best for me.
Thank you Dr Sykes for literally changing my life and making me feel incredible and look my absolute best! You will be the only person who’s ever allowed to touch my face, my family’s faces and also my friends’!
