Double Eye Lid Revision Botched Surgery With Multiple creases + Epicathoplasty

$3,600
Hi all,

I had a double eyelid surgery done sometime in 2014 however, I ended up with multiple creases and a long extended scar on my left eye. I had it done at Yanhee Hospital, price was definitely attractive.

Hence, I was looking for a Revision eyelid surgery, Ptosis correction and Epicantholasty. The long scar on my left eye unfortunately, will still remain as it was cut way too long before. My doctor advised that my ptosis is very slight, it was not needed hence the doctor only suggest the other 2 surgery. My doctor only specialises in eyelid surgeries and she had a good record of reviews. Came in for a consultation and book my surgery date 3 months later.

I was given a small bag of information and medication for my after care. The team was excellent and information was explained in great details.
- No Vitamin C and Collagen for 1 month
- No Eggs, Chicken, Duck, Seafood and Pickled Food for 3 weeks
- No water around eyes, to only clean with Saline solution.

I was extremely nervous as I would be under awake during surgery, I was knocked out with the first surgery.

I had my face cleansed and the doctor begin drawing my eyes. Wow! The anaesthesia injections hurt so badly! There were 4 injections made on each eye and towards the ending of the procedure, I could start feeling the stitching. After my eyes was done, I also had Botox injections around my eyes area to "hold" the shape of the eyes so my eyes areas do not move as much. The botox injections hurt the worst, started to tear up but the doctor was still telling me what she was doing along the way.

I had ice pack on my eyes for about 20 mins and I was good to go. Felt very sore and tight and a little painful on the first day and that was my procedure all done!

I was given :
Terramycin to apply on the stitches
Maxitrol for 7 days after removing the stitches
Scar cream from the doctor
I also was given eye drops, painkillers, anti biotics, swelling, inflammatory and itch pills to consume. On top of the medication, I took Sinnech as well.

Can't wait for the swelling to go down! I had minimal bruising and I did ice and warm very religiously. It marks my 1 month after my surgery and I had not put on any make up on my eyes. They are still quite swollen, especially my right eye. I am having some concerns over the healing of the EPI as well as both eyes doesn't similar. With the stitches, the shape of my eyes really do look symmetrical and good. However, with the healing, it seems that the left eye seems rounded and the right eye seems more pointed. What do you think?
