Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I am one of those people who reads every review...

I am one of those people who reads every review but never writes one, but I feel compelled to write something after this major life event that I would have never done if not for the brave and honest people on RS.
I'm 6 days out and anxious to get my sutures removed tomorrow.
I picked Dr Harley because he only does faces which was important to me. I had all three procedures done at the same time so I'm only down one 2-3 week period. My eyes were very hooded and I felt I would look worse if I just tightened my neck and not my eyes too, although doing my eyes scared me the most!

Day 7

Got my sutures removed this morning which is a big relief! I still have a lot of swelling around my ears and under my chin but no real discomfort. My eyes are functioning well, closing and no dryness which I hope continues...it is a bit strange looking at them and actually seeing my blue eyes as all I saw before were eye lids...so this will take some time to get used to!

Day 13

Almost two weeks out. This week has been harder for me...frustrated that the swelling isn't going down fast enough...I'm 57 y/o 5'4" 150# so I guess I had more fat in my neck as Dr Harley had to also use liposuction in addition to removing the fat surgically so maybe that's why I'm still so swollen? also still a little bruising under the right eye where I had the mole removed...
No make up in any of my photos trying to let you see good comparison of before and after
On positive note my eyes are functioning well with no dryness!
My best advice is find a Doc you are comfortable with but remember there are no guarantees with any surgery...and take a lot of " before " pics so when you get frustrated with the healing process you will remember why you did this in the first place!!
Thanks for everyone's supportive comments, much appreciated!
