I had two rounds of ultherapy on my face, forehead and neck. The goal was to gain firmness in the lower face and jaw line as I have minimal sagging, but starting to see the signs of aging. The tech assured me and almost swore to me I would see dramatic results. I was the perfect candidate, because I was still fairly young and I did not drink or smoke. They did not prescribe any pain meds, and even with 800 mgs of ibuprofen and a Xanax it was HORRIFIC. It was very painful and I have a high pain threshold. I actually started crying...couldn't help it. Went back for my 6 month follow up today and was PISSED. I actually look worse. My skin looks more saggy and almost discolored. The tech tried to spin it saying that I would continue to gain collagen over the year, etc. BULL. I am fighting for my money back. DON'T DO IT!! It is totally monkey dust sales marketing.

Yeah, if you decide to try it insist on pain meds. I would honestly say just save your money and get a mini face lift if you want real results.

I feel the wait for your results speil, is a perfect out for places. Then, later on they can either lie and say they are improvements or try to talk you into paying to do it again. That's what I've read on the reviews on real self. The worst thing that happens is admit it dudnt work for YOU. If the patient's talks about the damages it's either normal aging or couldn't be from ultherapy because it's not a known side effect. I would NEVER do this procedure as it's unpredictable and expensive and doesnt last, even if you're one of the lucky ones. No way to predict if you will be. Young and old have been damaged and young and old have liked it, from all the reviews I have read. It should be pulled from the market, but probably wont be.
