Hi ladies! Happy Thanksgiving! So I finally took some new pics :). I've been doing a little too much the last 3 days so I've got a bit of swelling going on. I'm 24 days post op.

Ugh. Drains.
I was hoping to get at least one of my drains out today. Preferably, the left drain. But they said maybe Monday afternoon when I go in the have my stitches removed from BB. Husband was raking leaves so I decided to try and take a shower by myself. Not too bad except that I am now uncomfortable from putting the CG back on. Its rubbing in certain places. I do love my new boobs!

Thanks! When I saw them for the first time on Wednesday, I almost died! They look so big. I did 350.

You look amazing!!! I'm with you, the drains suck. I am down to one so I can't complain. It gets easier with the CG. It's scary at first especially with the drains.

I'm doing much better :). I'm still really sore in the tummy. I keep meaning to do an update. Tomorrow I'll post new pics and a before and after. I'm having trouble finding a CG. I buy one, bring it home, but then I'm afraid to try and pull it over TT sutures. So I take it back for a larger size. And then it's the same thing. I'm returning it again tomorrow for the biggest size they got! I know it's supposed to be tight but I'm terrified of my sutures. I'm very swollen still and when I start hurting really bad I take off this CG from PS. Which I'm sure I'm not supposed to but it just feels better.

Oh I totally know that feeling - I would tug and pull the CG over my bruised thighs and then just wait in my closet for like, 10 minutes, before easing it up over my tummy. LOL! I started only changing my CG right after taking tylenol and a shower so I was at my most comfortable. And I cut huge holes for potty-access in all my garments (they never ran which was great) so I only have to taken them off / on once a day to wash / switch them. Good luck! we will be through this before you know it!

How tight is the CG supposed to be? I got one that was pretty easy to pull on because it's a bigger size. But I think it's not tight enough. I just want to pull my hair out!

My surgeon switched me to spanx after 1 week. Before surgery I'd cram myself into a S in spanx, but now I am wearing M (I buy cheap ones at Steinmart, or the knock off brand ASSETS at Target). So basically I am up one size, but already they are getting loose and I expect I'll be in S, and then XS soon. I tried ordering Leonisa and other more "faja" type garments but they didn't fit me at all (thighs were loose, tummy too tight, torso part too long) and since my doctor didn't require them I am just sticking with the spanx stuff. I always have red compression dents / marks on my skin when I remove them so I figure that means it's tight enough. But it's not so tight that I can't breathe or it leaves sores / chaff marks.

The cg has to be tight enough to where it will help you have enough compression and so you could end up with a better shape and most of all flatter stomach and trust me it feels better well in my opinion it does it I feel more secure and it hurts you when it rubs in places I recommend to place a gauze on that area so it won't bother you.

The cg has to be tight but not too tight where you can't breathe or handle it.

3 days post op
Today has been the first day that I've felt half way normal. The first few days were really rough. Lots of pain. My pain meds and muscle relaxer didn't seem to help much. But I can see the light! Today I was able to get in and out of the recliner by myself. I didn't need pain meds until late this evening when the day finally caught up to me. Yesterday was my first post op appointment. I got to see my new boobs for the first time. I think my mouth dropped open. They are huge! I'm not sure if they're really huge or they're just not hanging down to my belly.
I don't remember coming home from the surgery but I do remember waking up and being worried because I didn't have any kind of binder on my stomach. My PS says she doesn't put one on til first post op appointment. But because I waited to have one put on, my swelling was massive. So I have no idea what it's going to look like. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Hope you feel better as the first days are the worst but it's all worth it in the end.
