I found Dr. Collette Stern on line while researching someone to perform a my facelift. If you are looking for plastic surgery, look no further. From the minute I walked in the door I was impressed with the whole staff. Everyone was pleasant and professional. The setting, the staff and the experience was all positive. My surgery was done in the hospital due to my health status and that was pleasant and to my surprise, affordable. Her office nurse, Pam who also assists her in surgery made me feel welcome, educated me and essentially she held my hand through the who process. My procedure included a face lift, upper eye lid surgery and injections into deep facial lines. I would recommend Dr. Stern and her office to anyone looking for plastic surgery. I am very pleased with the outcome and the whole experience was very gentle and pleasant.

My surgery was performed in the out patient dept. I had an upper eye lid reduction, a face and neck lift and injections of filler into deep lines. I could have had more work done but I had chosen to limit the amount of change to my eyes and lower face and neck. Dr. Stern and her nurse and hospital staff met with me prior to surgery for last minute concerns. I had twilight sleep for anesthesia and when I awoke I had no memory of the surgery and No pain. I had surgery at 1:30 and was back home by 6:00 eating ice cream. I followed my doctors instructions closely keeping my face iced and my eyelids lubricated and taking my antibiotics. I had almost no bruising and literally no pain. I only took 1 pain pill the night of surgery so that I would sleep. I am a belly sleeper so sleeping on my back with head elevated was my biggest problem throughout. The day after surgery I saw Dr. Stern who removed my bandages and was very pleased with my progress. Most of my stitches were self absorbing. I saw my doctor 4 times after surgery, each time more healed than the last and then discharged after 6 weeks. My suture line is very thin and extremely close to my ears, easily covered with a dab of makeup. My eyes look like they did 30 years ago and the suture line cannot be seen.
