One month post op, all is great!

So, for those of you who have been kind enough to follow my journey, I wanted to show you one month post op pics. I tried to do them to compare with the pics I originally posted so you can judge for yourself how well the neck revision came out, NO MORE COBRA NECK!!! Yippee!!! Still a little swelling hard areas, but no problem for me! Thank you Dr. Harley!!!

One week update since surgery

Hi Everyone,
Having a real problem posting the pics for some reason, but I will as soon as I can! Actually, they really don't look any different than my last set, I look the same, and VERY happy with the results!! Went out two days after surgery, all was well. Went to work on day 6, all was well. One person noticed the bandage under my chin, other than that, no one said anything.
I have been feeling FINE, NO PAIN meds needed at all. This has really been very easy to handle. Of course, sleeping upright, or should I say STAYING upright after falling asleep has been my biggest challenge, for sure. Slight yellowing on my neck, nothing to speak of, really, easily hidden with my makeup. Still swollen at the ear area front and back, but just feels like a cold. Getting stitches out next Tuesday, excited to see how it will look. Again, sorry about the pics, will upload when I can!

So, almost a year to the date, I find myself doing...

So, almost a year to the date, I find myself doing a face and necklift revision. For those of you who have been following my journey over the past several months, THANK YOU for your supportive comments and encouragement that got me to where I am today! I had my original surgery with Johnathan Kulbresh in Charlotte on Dec 11, 2015. Extensive surgery including upper and lower eyes, cheek implants, lower facelift and neck lift. Eyes and cheeks ended up OK, but the lower facelift and necklift just didn't meet my expectations. I explained it to him on two followups, but he was somewhat dismissive of my concerns, and that really irritated me. I would have been willing to work with him if he had admitted there was a problem, but he was just dismissive of my concerns, so I took it as a learning lesson, and moved onto finding a way to fix the problems.
After reading everyone's opinion of Dr. Harley and the Biltmore lift, I decided I would book a consult. All went well, he felt comfortable that he could do the revision and I would have the outcome I expected, told me what I could expect and what was realistic. I really appreciated his candor and honesty. I was able to get a cancelled appointment this past Friday, Dec 15th.
We arrived at Dr. Harley's at 6:15am, and he gave me the cocktail, valium and zofran, took pictures and by then I was already feeling the effect of the valium. I felt the needles that administered the lidocaine, but I managed to get through it. I was in a twilight state until he finished, then I awoke and was fine. My head was wrapped in a compression bandage, had a drain, and off I went to the hotel to rest. Really not much pain at all, and I took a few hour nap, had a salad, and just rested at the hotel.
I did wake at about 2:30am and noticed I had bled through the compression bandage, so I took pictures and sent them to Dr. Harley and we spoke at 2:30 IN THE MORNING!!! All was well, but it meant SO MUCH to me to be able to speak with him that he was gracious enough to answer my question and reassure me in the middle of the night (I never told him, but when I was just 7, I had a tooth out and that evening I woke up in a pool of blood but I was afraid to wake anyone, so having him there was such a comfort!)
We met the next morning and Dr. Harley removed the compression bandage, drain, and then covered the stitches with the gel tape. He told me there was still a lot of fat that he removed and was able to fix the areas I was concerned with.
Back to the hotel, fixed my hair, and off home I went. No real pain, did not need to take any meds at all, and I feel just fine. There is swelling from about the middle of my ear down, but so far, very little bruising, and the swelling around the ears just kinda feels like having a cold. Feel fine, went out today to grocery shop, trying to take it easy as directed, but I really feel fine!
Thank you Dr. Harley!!! It has been a wonderful experience!!! If I could give 10 stars, I would!!! Sorry about the pics, not the best I know!
