Hello!! So, I did it! I had my 9 year old implants removed almost 2 weeks ago and I can't be happier!! I wanted to share with all you lovely ladies as I got inspiration and courage from all of your stories.

I got implants for reasons I'm sure many of us can relate to... years of insecurity + a jerk of a boyfriend who put me down for having small breasts instead of just loving me. Funny thing is I left him less than a year later and met the love of my life a few years after that. I'm now happily engaged and my fiance supported any decision I made, he just wanted me to be happy :)
(any man who doesn't mind emptying drains of my body fluids is a real keeper for sure!! )

In any case, I was active with them in for the 9 year, competing in triathlons and marathons and they didn't give me much trouble. However, over the years they got firmer and I felt silly and embarrassed about them. They became uncomfortable to run with and made me look heavier. I'd been thinking about removing for awhile and when I found this site, it became a reality.

I called many PMs and was not happy with even the phone service of most. I finally found one i LOVED!! Her name is Dr. Stern in Asheville, NC and she was so friendly, understanding and really took her time to answer all of my questions. She never gave me the ol "are you sure about this?" question and the office and staff was top notch. I'm in the health care field so I'm very very picky.

I had an explant without lift and the capsule was left in. I had it done on a Friday and was back to office work on Monday (drains were taken out Tuesday morning) I can't explain how happy I am, how free I feel!! Its like a weight has been lifted from me! I can't wait to hug my niece and nephew and not have them ask why my breasts are so hard :( I can reach across my body without two balloons getting in the way. AND, my breasts are bigger now than before ( I had slight tuberous breasts and it was corrected during the BA) I have cleavage, they are so soft and squishy and i LOVE them!!

Please feel free to ask any questions, I'd love to help and share my joy!
good luck to you all! you are all beautiful

She was wonderful!! Really took time to answer all my questions (and I had a lot) and was very supportive about the whole process. I would recommend her without hesitation to a friend/family member. The office was very helpful in working with my crazy schedule.
