I’ve always had big breasts ever since I started growing them. I used to get teased a lot for having such big breasts at an early age. I was chubby till I was 16 and even though I started exercising and toning up before I turned 18 my breasts size seems to stay the same. The sad part about them was they were very droopy and the right side was a bigger than the left side. My weight keep fluctuating with pregnancy and child birth as well. Unfortunately, my breasts size doesn’t lose weight when I lose weight and when I gain weight it keeps getting bigger as well. Anyway, I did not like my breasts at all because the shape. It does look good with my clothes on but I felt very insecure naked. I’ve thought about having them reduce and lifted for many years now but just did not have the courage to go through it. My defining moment happened last year when I was rear ended and suffered neck and back pain due to disc herniation from the accident. My pain was unbearable and having big breasts did not help at all. That is when I decided to talk to the surgeon to see if my insurance would cover the costs of my procedure. Fortunately, I had enough evidence and medical documentation that my insurance approved it. I had my procedure September 23rd 2015 and I am now 5 days post of. As of this moment I am feeling great and have no regret about the procedure but I will not be saying this 2 days post op since I think it was the worst days when it comes to recovery. I had a lot of pain and suffered nausea due to the side effects of Anesthesia. The pain pills helped a lot with my pain after I decided to take them as ordered. Apparently, I wasn’t taking enough to alleviate my pain. Anyway, as of today I am very happy with the result and I would recommend it to anybody who needs it. I wish I could have done it long time ago. Other than that I love the outcome.

I was feeling a little tired today so I just took it easy and ended up sleeping all day. I stop my pain medications since it was starting to give me nightmares. I ended up just taking Motrin and it was a lot better except my breasts started to feel tight again. The swelling came down a lot and I guess the tightness is from the sutures around the incisions. My doctor assured me everything is normal. They look really good as well considering it’s only been 6 days since I had the procedure. I am sure it will only get better from here. So hang in there! It is worth it!

Well here I am again, had my surgery almost 24 hours ago. I didn't expect this much pain and I have been taking my pain meds. Having a hard time with the nausea and always need help getting to the restroom. I feel a bit overwhelmed right now and upset. Hoping the pain will be more tolerable soon. I go and see my ps later today!!

3 Week post op

So today is the third week anniversary of my since I did my breasts reduction. Everything is going well with my healing process. Although I have days where I was feeling weak and tired than normal which I assumed due to the surgery. I had my doctor check and removed my sutures two weeks ago and he assured me that my wounds are healing nicely and there is no signs of infection. I was happy to hear that. My breasts are still tender and swollen and the right side is more painful than the left since it was bigger and they have to take more tissue out of it. So far I am still happy with my decision and I know that each day it will just get better. Here is an update photo of my breasts taken today. Thanks for reading and I hope I can inspire others who are seeking the same procedure.

May I add what did u use to help remove scarring and did you get a vertical cut underneath ?
October 21, 2015
Thank you for the compliment. And sorry for the late response. I hope your surgery went well and recovering fast. To answer your question about the scar. I used the Kelo cote that the doctor recommended and also I added pomegranate vitamin E oil. I normally apply the oil first then the Kelo cote. I do it twice a day. I am very happy with the way it turned out as well. I have an anchor shaped scar so the scars underneath my breasts are not seen but the vertical line looks great and it doesn’t show at all unless you look really closely. I am happy the way it turned out. I hope yours are great too. Wishing you fast recovery.

Thank you so much for the advice I will follow religiously. Mines went very well but I'm taped up I still don't get to see them until Monday. Well worth it I lost 10 pounds can't believe I was carrying that weight around in my breast.

Does your nipple still have feeling in them?
October 22, 2015
You are healing pretty good. Did the PS only cut around the nipples? I love that there are no scars

You look amazing. I had my surgery October 21, so I'm just a couple days post op but I think I almost look hard and high.. when does that change?
