I've included some pics in this review. in the side-by-side, the left was on the way to the clinic for surgery and the right was taken exactly 3 weeks later. I look and feel so much more confident. In the left pic I really thought I was smiling big. I can't help but notice that I couldn't even make eye contact with my phone. I ended up having infection from some old root canals which caused bone loss so I could only get 6 implants top and 6 implants bottom. I'll check in about a year and see if they've stimulated bone growth. I was very happy with my team of doctors. Dr. Arzate did not do my surgery due to a family emergency, but supervised the team. I might have had a tougher initial recovery than some due to the degree of infection. my lower jaw bruised quite a bit but the bruising didn't hurt and went away after about 2 weeks. the office was clean, up to date equipment and the staff spoke English. they were all very kind and sensitive to my anxieties and made sure I had enough pain meds. they were considerate of my time and even though I was there specifically for this procedure they always called to ask if I was available at such and such a time that day. they encouraged me to get out and see the area even though I was a bit self-conscious. I'm 3 weeks post-op now and only a little tender. all the implants seem to be healing well. I will update if anything changes, but I don't expect any issues. my color is B1 and I'm 43 years old.
