I recently had laser to remove part of my eyeliner...

I recently had laser to remove part of my eyeliner tattoo. This clinic was extremely unprofessional, unfortunately I had a terrible experience! Firstly I was not given thorough explanation of the process prior to it commencing, I certainly didn't expect it to be as brutal and painful, I was thrown in a room with two young girls who weren't sure who out of then both to juggle this job to, I was then taken into a room where I was asked to sit down my eyes were taped together and one girl kept saying I need eye shields and the other said no I didn't, the scariest part of my experience was after the first few zaps one of the girls stopped and said said " OH [RS bleep] THATS DEEP" ( this is totally unacceptable language and obviously not something you should be saying in front of a client who has no idea what's going on and has there eyes taped shut ) immediately I was in a panic thinking I had a hole in my face, I asked if everything was ok and she just brushed off my comment and said something about catching all the blood before it ran into my eye. I noticed after I opened my eyes the first time one of the girls was touching around my open wound without gloves which I find disturbing, the anaesthetic did work at first maybe for a few minuets then it wore off after that, I told them I'm not numb anymore and all I got was " oh it should be okay " the last part of the laser was the most painful thing I have experienced and there was definitely no anaesthetic left at that point as it was seriously painful. I found it unorganised and unprofessional that I had to have several technicians in the one room trying to laser a very small section in the corners of my eyes and they all seemed so unsure of what they were doing, the younger girls just gave up and left the room once the more experienced lady came in to take over.. Even now I feel like the end result is going to be more uneven that I started with, I asked her to remove a little more off the outer corner and I did say I don't mind if that particular side was a touch shorter however I pointed to the exact spot I wanted with a stick and then she repeated it back to me with the stick and she removed way too much! Now one eye looks much longer than the other, I was hoping to not have any more tattooing or laser after this one session, honestly i am so unhappy that I was first thrown in with the less experienced girls with the vulgar language and then they didn't even return to see the final result after they palmed me off to the other lady, my eyes were not taped or cleaned after the treatment, I was just left bloody and dirty and asked to leave. When I complained in writing I received a call from one of the ladies telling me to come in and complain to her face then she hung up the phone. So professional!! Not. Anyway do not visit this clinic you will waste your money and leave feeling violated.

Oh god. Sorry to hear you've had such a horrible experience. That really does sound like a terrible place. I hope that you will not get discouraged with following your treatment. There are plenty of places who will treat you well and will want to help you. I can't understand how someone could be so ignorant when receiving a complaint. That lady seemed to go on the defen!sive straight away, a clear sign of guilt. I wish you all the best

What a horrible experience. You need to make an appointment with an experienced dermatologist who specialises in lasers and specifically eyeliner tattoos.

OMG! This is so unacceptable! Report this clinic to the Health Commission of Victoria.
Always go to the dermatollogist for laser procedures. Never subject your self to clinics that advertise on TV. Good Dermatollogist do not advertise.

Have you actually been there yourself?
