Arm Lift Results Very Disappointing

I am 63. I had arm lift surgery 9 months ago in Bangkok with Dr Chartchai. After 4 months the results were looking good. I wore a compression garment for the first 5 months. It is now 9 months post surgery, and the arms have dropped noticeably, and the results are no longer satisfactory. My arms show batwings again, and there is not much improved to the before surgery appearance, except less plump (which actually gave a more healthy appearance). The skin is hanging down. My weight has remained constant, and so has my health. My doctor only explained that the procedure was performed properly, and has not acknowledged that there is an issue. The scar on the right arm is also not near as good as the left, and I suspect the right arm stitching may have been done by someone else, although Dr Chartchai says he did both arms. I have not been offered any corrective surgery. I will welcome any opinions on the photos .

Dr Chartchai has agreed to do corrective surgery. I will update with outcome. Surgery will be in July 2023.

You have been so good at sharing your experiences. I am glad you have the opportunity to have further surgery to correct arms. Are you still happy with your facelift? I am currently trying to decide between two very experienced face -only specialist surgeons - one in Melbourne and one in Sydney (Not JZ incidentally.) Thanks again for being so willing to share your personal journey.

Hi Lobo, Thank you so much for your post. I am still satisfied with my facelift. It looks better than it would have if I hadn't had surgery, although the jowls and neck are showing age. I was never totally happy with the work on the jowls. I will post current images of my facelift later today. Thank you again.

At the age of 60 + I get why arms may droop again down the road. We are not spring chickens.

Having corrective surgery in July 2023
After much communication, Dr Chartchai has agreed to do corrective surgery. It also helped that I had Janese from Bodyline on my side, who was able to talk to Dr Chartchai in person. She had originally arranged the surgery, and she is the best part of having it done in Bangkok. She is Australian, and that makes it very easy for me to talk to her.
The corrective surgery will be in July 2023. I will post updates after that.

Right arm corrective surgery
3 weeks ago by dr chartchai, I had corrective surgery on right arm only since this was the worst of the two, with hypertrophic scar. So far I see minimal improvement in the sagging. Still too early to see scar improvement.
