How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

NYU Langone Residency Program is Outstanding

I’m surprised I don’t see more reviews for the Plastic Surgery residence program at NYU. Last year I had a lower face lift and went back this year for an arm lift. These are some of the most highly trained residents in America and they are overseen by a Board Certified surgeon who has been in private business for many years and is now in the program. Most residents are either 4 or 5 year residents - one or two years away from board cert. My surgeon had competed over 150 surgeries this year alone in her residency. (Dr Cripps). The surgeons have completed hundreds of surgeries before becoming board certified. They are instructed and guided every step of the way and don’t make a cut or stitch without detailed discussion with the head of plastics. . The facilities at NYU are top notch and the best in NYC. Best of all - prices are ridiculously low because it’s a teaching program and they cannot charge “Park Avenue” prices. The surgeon’s fee is usually under $1,000. Most of the cost is the opening room and anesthesiologist. I paid less than $8k for my arm lift and I love my results!!!! My lower facelift from last year was also very low cost and results were amazing. My surgeon completed her residency and is board certified in pediatrics craniofacial surgery and recently operated on my 8 year old daughter - I trust them with her life.
