Very bad scars

5 months in. The scars are very ugly. I hope they are not keloid and that they can be removed next winter. Would not want to have these next summer. Keep this in mind when thinking about this surgery.

Those are keloid scars. You need to be wearing the silicone tape 24/7 for months (except bathing) to flatten those out & decrease redness. You have to work on those or they will not improve without intervention.
Did you discuss this with your surgeon?
All I see is an empty canvas for some really beautiful artwork for a really talented tattoo artist. It will change your life. Nobody will know that you had an arm lift. Eventually you won't even remember! If I were you, I'd do the entire arm on one side and something more subtle on the other. Go for it!

Bad scars

4 months from the surgery. Just had a dose of kortisol injected to the scars. I have never seen such bad scars from this operation. I am quite sure that I have to get scar revision surgery next winter.

Otherwise the results are great.

So sorry you’re going through this. The cortisol injection should calm down the scar. Please keep us posted.
Thanks :) Cortisol did not help, at least not the first shots. I'm getting another dose in few weeks. But I dont worry too much. This was a risk and I just happen to be the one having to deal with this. Maybe next summer will be Bitter after revision surgery :)
Better :D

Something positive

After many weeks I have finally started to see some positive things about my surgery. This side view is now my favourite. Sorry for the dirty mirrow!

The journey thus far has been so difficult that it is very good for my mental health to see the change that has happened.
