Arm Lift- Loving Results Already!

After years of going up and down in weight, and losing 50-70 lbs naturally a few different times, my arms took a beating!
I can't believe I did it and I'm embarking on healing! Surgery day was a breeze. Dr. Reynolds and his team (in Las Vegas) were the absolute best! Great support and bed side manner! Nurses and anesthesiologist made this such an easy experience! As someone who had never been put under, I wasn't nervous one bit. The anesthesiologist had mentioned that the tone of my voice sounded like Alicia Keys, so when they wheeled me into the operating room, they had Alicia Keys music playing! By the time I said 1 or 2 words, I was knocked out! It felt like it was only 22 seconds lol. When I woke up, I asked when they were going to start surgery! They were already done lol! They said it took about an hour or so, not long at all!
Day 1 at home really wasn't that bad. Just super stiff, sore and a lot of burning. Day 2 waking up was wayyy more stiff than day 1. It's never really been painful, just uncomfortable. I'm day 4 now- had post op; wound is closing nicely, a lot of bruising but slowly getting a little more range of motion by the house. I can't really put then down by my side, so I keep them elevated when sitting and sticking out when walking.
I'm staying with family- help tge first few days seems yo be crucial. I'm able to wipe myself enough to get by, rinse the bottom half of body in the shower. I can grab things and move stuff around. It's hard for me to receive help, that's the toughest part but I'm being careful with my movements. I'm keeping the scar moist with aquaphor for now and will start scar treatment regime next week when it closes completely.
I'll admit, the scar is more than I anticipated but it's okay. Dr. Got the scar placement spot on- you can't see it from the front or back, only when ny arms are straight up. I'm very happy about that. I trust that they are going to heal nicely. Even with the swelling, I can see the end result us going to look great! So far, no regrets. I think I'll be happy once healing has set in!
