After getting it done I'm starting to regret it

I've been wanting to get my arms done for the longest. I had smart lipo back in 2015, to be honest it didn't do anything. I finally decided to go with an arm lift.
After getting it done I'm starting to regret it. My biggest issue was I had my left arm larger than my right arm by almost 1.5 inches (I am right handed if anyone was wondering). I explained to my surgeon that my #1 concern was I wanted them to be symmetry. I'm not expecting them to be perfect but close enough where they at least aren't NOTICEABLY asymmetric.
I am now 6 weeks post op and here is my before and after. My right arm is healing great however my left arm has opened up pretty bad. I followed up with my surgeon and he said we can do a revision for the scar and that it will only be cutting in the dermis very superficial under local anesthesia, but I told him I am worried they are still going to be asymmetric. To be honest I feel like my left arm looks the same as before. He told me I am still swollen and that I can do the revision in November (3 months post op). To be honest I want to cry at this point because I went through so much pain.
Time will tell I guess I will wait a couple more months and see.

You needed better follow up for wound care. I hope they're helping this heal properly now. I'm sure it will look great when it's healed and you can laser the scars. Best wishes .

Hello. Wondering how you’re doing with your arms and how you treated your opening?
