Incredible Surgeon, Very Talented!
WORTH IT
I talked to maybe 4-5 surgeons around the Bay Area last year and Dr. Zeiderman was the clear choice! It's now been 4 months post op and I can't be happier.
I've lost about 70lbs over 2 years on a peptide and wanted an arm life after years of thinking about it. Despite the weight loss, I'm still plus sized but I like where I've landed and all of my panels are great. Here is where he stood out to me:
1) he was the only surgeon who had clearly worked on different kinds of bodies. He showed me pics of people who were thin, medium, plus sized, old, young, white, brown etc. Most surgeons I had talked to only worked with women who were already thin or lost a ton of weight to become thin.
2) I told every doc "I know I'm still considered plus size but I like where I've plateaued and my panels are squeaky clean." He was the only one who said "Amazing, what's what matters." Of course, he made other assessments before he considered me a good candidate like arm size, realistic expectations for them, the rest of my body proportions, etc. but when I said that to every other surgeon, I always heard "aw why not! Keep losing! Have you tried calorie counting?"
3) related to this, we talked a LOT about proportions. I'm still a thick lady and I was worried about weird looking stick arms. I was also worried about going too conservative and looking the same. He listened and gave me exactly what I wanted- arms realistic to a 36 year old lady my size!
I'm not a plastic surgery expert, this was my first surgery EVER, but I say he helped give me a body teenage me always dreamed of and he did it while respecting me as a person. I couldn't be happier!
