Extended Brachioplasty: My arms have always been my least favorite part of my body

This is why you want to have a surgeon like Dr. Zollman. This line is amazing. You can barely see it. A arm lift is no joke, and not for the faint of heart. We basically had to redo one side completely because of a horrible infection, but it’s all good now and I am so happy.

So one arm is closed up and the other is close behind. It’s been a tough slow road, and there are some revisions that will need to happen, AND I’m SO happy!!!! This is like a dream come true, my arms fit in everything.

I got a bad infection in one arm that will require them redoing the entire incision. The other side is good. I would make sure you talk about where the incision will end and what you want that too look like. My lower arm is now bigger than my upper arm which I will be asking what we can do about I

Thank you for our post. Makes me feel like I am not alone . My arms did similar to yours and opened up . I am 4 weeks out and I am miserable. I got a tummy tuck and brestlift at the same time . I regret only my arms . He recovery is no fun and I am just hoping the end result is worth it. Please share photos of the wound arm too if you're comfortable.

Measurements

KPS84
Before surgery my arms measured 22 inches around. 3 weeks PO and one is 15 and the other is 14.5. Im going to have to buy a lot of new tops. I love putting on things right now. I have so many sweaters I couldn’t fit my arms in before that glide on with ease. My favorite coat fits again. Shirts that I stretched out the arms in make me look like a kid in her moms clothes. Y’all I can’t wait for a couple weeks when I’ll be healed up and can really start enjoying!!! Best Christmas gift EVER!
