Arm lift by dr curves

WORTH IT$8,700
Finally got my arms done wit Dr. Jimerson. It was well worth I?t. Doesn’t matter how much weight i lost. The arms just wouldn’t go away. I couldn’t wear blazers, certain jackets, cute girly tops. My arms would never fit... I had to get bigger jackets. Bigger shirts. Only stretchy material just so my arms can fit comfortably. i would never take my shirt off. Not even during sex. I just got comfortable enough with my man to show my arms. Go to sleep with no shirt or even let him give me a massage. No pool parties, no summer clothes, no nothing involving me showing my arms. After all these years, Im finally happy. You wouldn’t understand. Thank you @drcurves! You changed my entire life forever. And thank you @briki_fa_president for being here through the entire thing. She had to work this weekend. That’s why @mr.moveinsilence popped up. it felt like shift changed. So much support. Im extremely blessed with great family and friends. I’ll be lying if i tell you any different #SwipeRight for results. #TellMyOwnTruth #HarshReality

I know I saw your pic. How are the scars? How long did it take for you to be able to use your arms I'm a normal way. I am getting them done in March and I won't get much time off of work.

*in a normal way

Looking forward to more pics as your healing progresses. I am scheduled for my arm lift Jan 15th and can't wait!!! Did your Dr recommend a compression garment? Some do, some don't. Will be asking mine in 2 weeks at my pre-op apt, along with a bunch of other questions. I know what you mean about having difficulty finding sleeves that fit. Even before I lost weight and was plus-size it was sometimes hard to find sleeves that fit; very frustrating!!! I'm not as concerned about looks as much; I'm older and don't care as much. Hope you're healing well with little discomfort!!!

yes. they give me my compression garment after they take the tubes out. which will be my 1 week post op

I’m scheduled to have my surgery Thursday. 3 days. I wasn’t nervous at all because I wanted it for years. Like you, I have always hated my arms and they never fit into long sleeves. I wasn’t nervous until Friday. 6 days before scheduled surgery. now I’m asking myself WHY am I going to do this? Is it all gonna be worth it?

How much pain/discomfort are you having? Much difficulty washing, dressing, going to the bathroom, etc??????
December 19, 2017
I️ts not that bad. the drains actually make it harder. once these come out. i was told I’ll feel much better. but on a scale from 1-10 of pain. im at about a 5. i was able to wipe myself the 3rd day.

Thanks! I had back surgery last year and that was a rough recovery! Was in the hospital 6 days then rehab for a week. For this I'll be staying overnight in the hospital before coming home. I live by myself and will have friends helping me some but if I need it at all may get some home care.
Hope your Dr appt went well and you got your concerns addressed!

I was told i had an allergic reaction to the tape the placed over the scar. it was blisters at first but its healing now. I’ll
post more updates soon My pain level is very low. its just extremely
uncomfortable with these drains in. The drains cause a little burning
sensation but it’s not unbearable.

Why didn't u just get lipo hun?? Me and u have the same problem only I didn't care what anybody thought about my arms but now that I've gained more weight, my arms are hideous and I haven't wore my arms out for years and it's a major part of my insecurities so I was thinking about just getting lipo on my arms. I'm scared to get the lift but I'll continue filling your recovery !! Your are brace and thank you for sharing your story

Lipo does not help with loose skin.

I have a lot of typos in that comment smh but ooohhh ok I see. Her arms look good so I'll Consider this doctor. I just have to worry about the scar
December 25, 2017
i didn’t care what anyone said about my arms neither. in fact. No one ever said anything about my arms. thy never noticed them because i always kept them covered. what made it assumed i got ‘tis surgery for anybody but myself? and i got brachioplasty because lipo would of not done the job!! my arm needed t be lifted. not just a couple of fat tissue removed or broke down.

I know sometimes people can read comments out of context. I rock wit u girl I'm not against u. I actually worded my first comment wrong. But the other commenter broke it down for me and I see. Have a safe recovery....

There will definitely be a scar; placement of the incision can make a difference of how noticeable it will be. Everyone heals differently, but over time it does fade some. I am having my arms done in 3 weeks and am doing it for myself. I never cared what others thought about my arms but even when I was plus size found it difficult at times to find tops to fit right. In regular sizes it can be even harder to find tops; can be frustrating!!! Hope this helps!
Everyone have a Happy Holiday!

I had my arms done and one arm was bigger. Had it redone 3 months later. My scars had had fraxel laser treatments to smooth out scar and now V beam is starting to get rid of the red.
