WORTH IT
Dr. Bradly Hubbard has exceeded my expectations AGAIN! I don’t know where to begin to express my appreciation and respect for this ethical, brilliant and caring plastic surgeon. It had been three long years of searching for a surgeon and countless consultations. I am so thankful that I invested the time and energy to travel for a person consultation with this astounding plastic surgeon. He actually listens to your concerns and responds with an answer that is supported by medical evidence, not just his opinion. This is my second round of plastic surgery with Dr. Hubbard. The staff at Dr. Hubbard’s office are very attentive and caring. Lisa and Kate have always been very attentive to my needs, if I called or sent an email or text. Lisa, I have to recognize you for coordinating surgeries (additional otoplasty) between two separate surgeons (labs, quotes, medications, instructions, appointments, etc) and not missing anything! Thank you for everything you did to make this happen! The entire staff make these procedures much easier to go through by being so friendly and supportive. Dr. Hubbard performed a full abdominoplasty revision, breast augmentation revision with anchor lift and body lift on me in September of 2018. After seeing the beautiful results of the first surgery performed by Dr. Hubbard, it was obvious that my “bat wings” (excess skin on my upper arms) were noticeable and no longer matched the rest of my body. Dr. Hubbard created a beautiful tapered appearance to my arms. My arms are now symmetrical, balanced with my upper body and no longer have loose skin literally hanging from them. The result of the brachioplasty appears natural because of the “natural tapered appearance” and the natural contour of the arms. My scars are minimal, and I actually smiled when I saw them, compared to some of the other scars I have saw. I have not even done scar therapy yet and I would wear a T-shirt or tank. Actually, my bruising was worse than the scars initially. Ok ladies... the worse part of the brachioplasty is no shaving under your arms for around 10–14 days or so (stitches) and no roll / thick on deodorant (you may be able to use spray on after a week, depending on healing). Personally, showering the first week was fine for me. I had no odor because I showered daily after the first 2 days after surgery, as instructed. The pain is manageable, and nothing compared to abdominoplasty or breast augmentation.
I also chose to do the Fraxel CO2 laser resurfacing because I have acne scars and fine lines. I had a moderate / deep scar from Chicken Pox near my nose, which at the time had filler in it. Dr. Hubbard dissolved the filler and revised the scar surgically with a stitch. The scar on my nose appears much better and feels smooth to touch. I had laser in the past laser procedures (8 years ago) (2 fraxel and 1 mixto), but this is by far my best result overall (acne scars, nasolabial folds, brows / eye area, fine lines and skin tightening). I will post some photos to get this review started. Dr. Hubbard is so ethical that when I inquired about otoplasty, he chose to refer me to one of the top plastic surgeons who specialize in otoplasty, Dr. Steve Byrd (He invented the Ear Well). I highly respect Dr. Hubbard for sending me an expert in otoplasty. I will be posting that review as well. I am beyond thrilled with my results. :-)

Thank you thank you !! I was wondering about the pain and I am on the fence to have this done. I had a tummytuck and that was the worst pain I ever had. Thank you for sharing and your story. So happy for you

Fraxel Update and Scar Revision
Hello everyone. I will post a brachioplasty update separately soon and post my otoplasty review. We are planning for vacation in Alaska (Land and Sea Excurcursions). Recovery is going well. I am using the Skin Medica TNS Recovery Cream, but for some reason I sometimes have difficulty using the products with the TNS component in it (redness). My skin has slowly adjusted to the products from Skin Ceuticals.
I healed faster than I anticipated, but still have not worn makeup (my choice) except brow pencil. I am approaching 4 weeks post-op soon. So many surgeons told me that no laser would smooth my acne scaring. Dr. Hubbard certainly proved that advice wrong and not only did he smooth my acne scaring, he smoothed my fine lines and nasolabial folds. As of today, three individuals have asked me if I got a brow lift during my visit to Dallas, Texas. One is actually a surgeon. I have naturally high brows and I suppose the laser provided a lifting appearance or smoothed around my eyes. I do not know why people are asking me that question because I am more focused on the acne scaring and my lower face. I am going to share some before and after photos. I do not have a lot because we do not take photos of things that we do not like to see but I do have a few to share. Dr. Hubbard did what most surgeons would not attempt to do. He even met my expectations within one treatment (I had laser treatments before several years ago). I did not expect my outcome to be this good within one single treatment and I had planned for 2-3. I will continue to update my reviews, including the previous, as the results are said to improve over time. Best Wishes Ladies!

You look fantastic and got a beautiful result! Your complexion looks really nice. I am so happy for you. Thank you for sharing your results. I have been researching CO2 laser for awhile and hope to schedule sometime after the New Year. It's helpful seeing other's results.

That's great :)
