Brachioplasty, amazing results!
WORTH IT$4,600
Excellent! Biggest worry was going to be my recovery and what I could and could not do. I do have scars but could care less...I have skinny arms! First time every and so excited to wear sleeveless tops this summer.

Hi, your arms look great. What was the total cost of an arms lift?
March 28, 2017
The surgery was $4,600. If I had gone to another hospital done the street, it would have gone over $5K. Same doc, so glad she told me. I also spent money on the embrace Scar therapy and that was about $500. And nightgowns I could slide in and out of (not over my head). Oh, and bioCorneum for my scars as well (got that off of eBay). Glad to answer any more questions as I had a ton myself before my surgery.

I'm scheduled for surgery on the 17th, how manageable was the pain.. I'm nervous have read alot of reviews on here.. some say it is excruciating.

Your arms look amazing. When you have a chance post some more pics!! I can't wait to see how your scars progress. I am Planning on an arm lift in December and your Dr is reasonable and close by. Some docs are charging up to 10,000 for an arm lift. Be well:)

Thanks! I will post more pics when I'm done with the scar treatment. I can tell you this...that whatever you think it will be it will be easier. Happy to talk live if you have any questions. I had a ton so always nice to talk to someone that has been through it.

I use pads and cut up gauze pads. I only have one more week to go with my compression sleeves which will be eight weeks. My doc said I was fine at six but I decided on 8. From 8 to 12 I will wear them just at night. I'm in my 4th week of scar therapy so I hope it's worth the money! Scheduled to start exercising mid May. I also had some breast work done due to stupid cancer. I figured if I was getting new boobs to get some new arms :)

I'm sorry to hear you had cancer. You deserve new boobs and arms for fighting that battle. I hope the scar therapy works for you. I'm sure I will have many questions for you!!

Hi mmcginit Any updates or pics of your scars? Thank you

The scars definitely are lighter but you can see them. Also, I have not gained weight but some of the tightness at the beginning loosened up which I was surprised about. Also, the scar toward the armpit also spread.

I had the surgery 06/2019 so I'm 1yr post op. I LOVE the results! I didn't even care about the scar. I bought some scar cream off of Amazon and used it every day for the first 9 or 10 months. Now I use cocoa butter everyday. I knew I was going to tattoo it after my year was up ( I just did it 2 weeks ago). No issues. The pain from the surgery was minimal. I didn't even take time off or work; had the surgery on a Thursday, went back to work that next Monday (I have a desk job). My husband or son would help me put the sleeves on because I couldn't do it myself. And I faithfully wore the compression sleeves about 7 or 8 months. The total cost with hospital and anesthesia was $7000. But for someone like me that had thighs for arms, it was DEFINITELY worth it

Embrace was not for me
I used Embrace Scar Therapy and followed the instructions very carefully. But it did damage to my skin by actually pulling it off! I had to see a doctor and put medicine on my arms twice a day for 10 days. I called Embrace and they are refunding me. I am now just using BioCorneum which is a silicone gel.

Covering scars
I am 2 1/2 months into my recovery. My scars are still healing and have that pink color to them. I bought Dermablend Leg and Body Buildable Liquid Foundation and it is AMAZING!!! I went to Macy's to get a color match and then just ended up ordering it on eBay as it was about half the price.

Oh great I can't wait to see them!! The shape of your arms look fabulous!! I'm excited for you:)

Hi, does your doctor also perform mini-arm lifts? Were you not a candidate?
July 29, 2017
I'm sure she does. I was definitely NOT a candidate for a mini arm lift. I had waaaaaay to much fat. I'm a relatively thin person...all my fat went to my arms just looked so odd on my body.
Week 2: Back to driving. Incisions look so much better than week 1. Oh, and back to work!
Week 3-4: Still in sleeves, my husband has to clip them in the back. I do get sore under my armpits so I cut up maxi pads and stuff a piece in. Also using BioCornium.
Week 5: Started my scar therapy, Embrace. Hoping it works, will post pics in two months. Arms so much smaller!
