6 months after scar revision

Thank you guys for all of the encouraging comments, these last two photos are 6 months post scar revision surgery. If anyone is considering idk if I would reccommend the scar revision after the initial surgery just because of the potential that it could come out worse.... My right arm looks phenomenal I think after the reviosion however but with the left I got quite a bad infection and it tunneled for a while leaving the scar way worse off after healing then what it was prior to the scar revision... Like alot of you I am hoping to one day get them tattooed hopefully they can,do,it with how raised it is in some parts. I also am trying the bicorneum that someone else mentioned it seems to be helping quite alot. I also have been trying silicone scar sheets at times too have been helping I am hopeful that it will get lighter and smoother in time. I definitely want to try the tattoo make up you guys mentioned as well it sounds worth it. I do think the original surgery was totally worth it in the end but as for the revision not as confident.

Armlift on Fair Skin
So I began my journey to transform my flabby arms after having 3 kids back in September of 2020 Dr. R had informed me that their maybe scarrring but it shoudlnt be that noticeable. Im sure that is the case with other people maybe with darker skin than mine but after 10 months and scar gel and multiple cortisoid shots its still very noticeable. My Dr. Said that an arm lift would be the best option with most of my issue being excess skin but lookomg back I wish I would, have tried liposuction anyway or maybe a mini arm lift because the scar is just noticeable in every top which i,thonk is almost worse than my flabby skin was to begin with... However, my journey is not over Dr R and his team have kept in touch with me this whole past year and may even go for a scar revision surgery free of cost so him and his team are amazing I dont blame them I honestly think it is because I have such fair skin and have never undergone any surgery in the past to be aware of my skin inability to heal like others lol

Hi, I had an arm lift. I had lipo first and that made my arms look worse. I too was hoping to have a less evasive procedure. Lipo was a waste of my money. My scars are noticeable too, but man, do my arms look better. I plan to tattoo over my scars. I see it this way...I could still have my big flabby arms and no scar and look horrible no matter what I wore, or I could have normal looking arms and in some outfits look awesome and some outfits have noticeable scars until I get tattoos. I always look at after photos of the armpit lift, and think to myself- well, she should have just gotten the full lift because those arms look no different. I think your arms look so much better and eventually your scars will be less noticeable. It takes time. Good luck!!!
I plan on tattooing also. Not all tattoo artists can tattoo over scars.. it’s a specialty
You look great. I am fair skin as well and a year out. The scars did not really start to fade until 10 months except in spots. The elbow area is the last to get better. I used biocorneum the whole time but I think "tincture of time" is what works. It's hard to be patient but for me, I'll take the scars over the flabby skin I had any day!
I’m three years out, fair skin and still have my dark scars. Tattoo cover up makeup works wonders. Id rather have cute skinny arms w scars any day over flabby gross bat wings. A revision will probably not help. I had one 6 months out. Some people just scar more than others. Eastern European skin at its finest ;)
I have very light skin as well and my scars are hardly noticeable. But it did take a year. Did he say anything to you about your scars being atrophic or keloid? Will laser help lighten them possibly?
