Thank you! I feel wonderful. Best decision.
You look great! I am considering having the sleeve done as well. Is it always mandatory 6 months to see a dietician? Or was that insurance required
I only had to do 3 months. It depends on your insurance.
You look amazing :)
Thank you!

Hello family...it's been a while since I've posted...but I wanted to give a quick update. As of today I have lost 43 pounds and I'm now down from a size 18 to a 12!! I'm exercising on a regular basis which really helps with righting up the skin. My legs are not the prettiest but I'm hoping all of the leg workouts will pay off soon as I continue to drop more pounds. This is by far one of the best decisions I have made. If anyone is considering the gastric sleeve...I highly recommend it. Life changer!

Hi. Proud of you. Hope that it's not been too bad. Is it because you're not that hungry, or because that sleeve won't allow too much food?
Isn't that the surgery that makes it hard to eat more than a few spoons of food?
Correct, can eat on 1 salad all day or small bites of something. I do get hungry...but it doesn't take much to fill me up.
I am so very proud of you! I have my endoscopy in 14 days. Then surgery anytime after the 23rd. Have taken my nutrition classes... boy oh boy, it's going to be a bumby ride!!! Keep up the good work... My sister had the surgery last year... her progress has been wonderful but slow... If you lose to fast you'll have to much sagging skin
Yes, I'm on the slower side as well. I am trying my best to avoid as much saggy skin as possible...working out is key. CONGRATS and good luck on your journey.
Curious about extra skin so far, and what you mean by legs aren't the prettiest. I am 5'3" 231 lbs and worried about these issues. Can you give me some insight?
That was my concern as well. Thought about the surgery three years, but the sagging scared me. I'm very solid now... No jiggling
Then you should be fine...just walk and that will keep your legs firm.
Hello I am due to have my operation 2 weeks time I am really nervous
Congratulations!! Mine is in the third week of July... I'm sure you'll do fine... keep us posted
Thank you..
I will keep you posted and wishing you all the best with yours. I have a week to go
