I'm 46 years old with three children ages: 8, 5,and 18 months. I am what you'd call apple shaped. I have very muscular arms and legs with a fat stomach. With each pregnancy my stomach muscle parted and the skin got loosers. I didn't have to look long for a plastic surgeon. I Google diastasis recti and video popped up with Dr. Otto Placik explaining what it was and how you would have to go about correcting it. Luckily for me Dr. Placik was located in the Chicago area so i immediately made an appointment for a consultation...which was free by the way! The office staff was top notch and whenever I had a question I would always be contacted right away. I've had two post op visits so far and the nurse that is attending to is so helpful and sweet. I am told that everything is healing beautifully, which makes me extremely happy. At my first post op visit I got chance to see my new tummy and it's my expectations!!! So, yes! Very pleased with Dr.Placik's work.
