Has anyone else experienced such horrible luck like I have with these IDEAL? 1st rupture happened 8 mos ago, got my revision 5 months ago NOW I am on my SECOND rupture!!! I'm not sure what to do... Leaning towards just being done with these dumb water bags.. If anyone else has experienced something similar please reach out to me.

Oh man, I’m sorry this has happened twice for you. I almost went with the Ideal, but I couldn’t find a doctor who had a lot of experience with them, and my surgeon convinced me that the silicone were safe, so that was what I ended up going with.

I would say you made a good choice based on my track record with this company lol

yeah they're great (silicone/mine are mentor BTW) until you start getting sick years later as the poison begins to slowly leak into your body... it f**king sucks!!! No longer have energy or quality of life/difficult to function due to silicone illness

Omg this happen to you? I know so many women it's silicone and they have no issues. It's so weird that this only happens to some women. How long have you had yours now?

Was your first rupture due to the valve issue? I just got a call from my surgeon's office that they're reopening next week after the close down for covid-19. I'm getting the ideal implants

There was a recall but my ideal implant was not because of a valve issue.

I just rescheduled my surgery for the end of this month. They said ideal just announced that they have no implants available and don't know when they will. They didn't specify why so I'm wondering if there is another recall coming or some other issue. I guess I'll be getting regular silicone :/

What!? Where can you find this post?!
May 1, 2020
Oops, I meant I'm getting regular saline! My surgeon's scheduling coordinator just told me that she only found out yesterday that they can't get them. It could be because of covid-19 but I'm kinda wondering if it's something else. Mabe they just delayed production because of the virus but you'd think the demand would have stopped with production as well. They told her they were unavailable because they couldn't keep up with the demand.

Update from having unders to overs

User Avatar
KTR12
Hi
Note: Dr. Placik did my unders. Dr. Leahy did my revision to overs
In the pictures I have posted (exception of the bra) are retaken from when I posted them with my unders, so you all can see a huge difference it is to go over the muscle on a small petite gal. I only went 45cc higher then have unders at 340cc. Currently I have 385cc over the muscle.
Feeling of under the muscle breast implants with ideal at 340cc. They were filled to the max and felt like HARD BALLS. I actually started hating them after I had a rupture on the Left side. They also didn’t really move t all, and my right breast was uncomfortable under the muscle and it was hugging my armpit. Also, cold not achieve any cleavage and I was still self conscious about having boobs. I also had a very narrow look to my breasts.
Lessing in disguise you could say for having a rupture.
Over feelings; they feel like natural boobs! I have ideals overs at 385cc feels like silicone moves like natural breast tissue which I’m totally not used to! Most importantly I have CLEAVAGE and a rounder look!!! Very happy with my decision to go over! My confidence is much better because well I have boobs that feel like real boobs and look like real/fake boobs and cleavage!!!!! :-)
Lessons learned: my original plan was to go over the muscle prior to my first breast augmentation! I let everyone get to me about not going over the muscle ( other reviews, doctors because I’m too petite). Meaning I should’ve just listened to my gut in the first place and gone over! Blahhh!!!!!!!!
I will be continuing to update on my review with Dr. Leahy which you can find on my main page where it shows my other reviews.

I heard when they are overfilled they feel hard but if they aren't overfilled they feel natural. When you got the 385cc, was it in a larger shell?

385 is with a 415cc shell and they feel so real now!

You look fantastic! I also have overs and love them, but I’m finding I really get wrinkles on the top. Do you experience this?

Than you! I don't think I have any rippling on top but I do have some where the cleavage is, but it's mainly visible when I'm not wearing a bra

I've just read through all of your posts, comments and replies. I'm so torn about going under or over the muscle. I am a dog groomer and taking 2 weeks off but really need to be able to go back to work at full strength after that. I am a 34 b though have some gapping with padded bras and the PS I chose said that I do have enough tissue to go over the muscle though she likes going under better. I also want more cleavage but am concerned about rippling. I'm getting ideal implants and thinking I'll probably go with around 400cc, I have a bwd of 12.5. What are your thoughts and feelings now that your several months out? I also thought that over filling would give a harder feeling breast after reading many reviews on here so I think with 400 cc I can get a large enough implant (with 12.5 bwd) to not over fill. Was yours ruptured or was it due to valve issue?

Hey!

Sorry for the delayed response. If you're going with 400cc which shell have you decided on? I am still 100% more satisfied about going over the muscle. Really it would only look bad if I got super skinny! But I also have a 12.5bwd I went with a 415cc shell and filled it to 385cc. They just feel so much better, move like real boobs haha. I wish I would have gone over the muscle in the first place, but I know now every woman experiences what I experienced by going under the muscle. My pecs are just super strong idk what to say lol.

New boobs in ace bandage lol

User Avatar
KTR12
All swollen, took one Tylenol last night followed by a nerve blocker and a Valium but drank too much coffee to actually fall asleep fast. Around 1pm I get to take the ace bandage off. It’s weird that you have to through a drop and fluff when it’s over the muscle lol. Pain in fine laying down but when I stand I look like a jump back because gravity pushing down doesn’t feel good. I will be taking 3 short walks today to get things moving. Can’t wait to see my doctor tmrw!
