My areola reduction - so far I'm so happy with the results

My areolas were never extremely big (about 5cm when soft), but I found them a bit off in relation to my breast size. I did a lot of researching and spoke to multiple plastic surgeons, most of whom told me not to do it because it wouldn't be worth it for me, because the risk of them becoming worse than before would be too big. I let the idea rest for a while and then everually decided I still wanted to do it, because I would never know if I didn't try.
I found a plastic surgeon at a good (Dutch) clinic who was calm and confident enough (in a believable way lol) and had also booked great results with previous patients.
The procedure itself was actually fun and relaxing, I got to watch how they did it and it was so freaky and cool to see. Not a bad experience for me at all. I got surgery tapes over my areolas which I had to leave on for 10-14 days and not get wet for too long. I wear sports bras every day and night.
So far I'm sooo happy with the results. They are not nearly as scary looking as I expected them to after I removed the surgery tapes (10 days after the procedure). This week I have my two-week follow up appointment and then I will ask my plastic surgeon about the aftercare like creams or silicone sheets.
Feel free to ask me anything. I have a lot more photos (I take a few almost every day) so can always share more if requested.

An update on how they look now. I can still feel them a little bit all the time. It’s not pleasant but I wouldn’t describe it as pain - it helps to remind me to be careful with them, so I don’t mind it. Also my breasts are still a little bit yellow. But overall I can feel and see improvement on healing.

Still wearing sports bras all the time. Can now sleep on my side and have started working out again. All seems good.

Can you please post an update or maybe just tell me if yours stretched back to normal size? Everytime I see an amazing result, the poster never updates past like a month & those that do post updated a year out say they stretched back. UGH I’m terrified! Lol

Hi! They are still pretty much the same, and it’s been 3,5 months. I will post a new photo!

Your result looks amazing and it healed so well, no scars at all.
I wonder if you lost sensitivity in the nipple or if it could affect the breastfeeding.
Thank you for sharing your journey ❤️
