- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

2.5 weeks post op
So the first pic is about 1 week post op when I first got my tapes removed, and the second is from today 2.5 weeks since my surgery.
When I first saw my areolas after having the tapes removed I was a bit scared that I’d made the wrong decision, they looked so tiny and the right side was bleeding a bit and had a weird fold in it. But as you can see they are already looking a lot better now. Honestly I think it was just a massive shock to see such a big change.
They are still a bit ruckled and some of the stitches haven’t dissolved yet but hoping everything settles soon. Also I don’t know how obvious it is in the photos but it looks like some of the areola was “missed” on the bottom of the right side, it doesn’t really bother me too much as they look 100x better than before but still something I’ve thought about.

Areola reduction
I’ve been contemplating getting an areola reduction since I was about 15, I am now 21. I have not seen a lot of other reviews online so I thought I’d share my experience here.
I had my procedure last week on May 10, the procedure was done under general anaesthesia and so far I am very happy. I’ve had very minimal pain and bruising, and whatever soreness I had I sorted with ibuprofen.
As you can see in the before pictures my right areola was considerably larger than the left which was my main concern, however I wanted to get rid of the puffiness as well so I decided to get both done. Also to my surprise it gave me a slight lift which is exciting. I got permanent sutures, so hopefully they won’t stretch too much, but I am aware that there will be some stretch.
I’m getting my tapes off on Friday so I will update on how they look then, but so far so good.
