WORTH IT
Just thought I’d add some more progress photos as an update, I think I’ve reached a point now where this is fully settled (same as one year post op etc) nothing has really changed, I’ve added pictures of fully relaxed areolas, mine are normally semi erect but think it’s good to see all views. I’m still beyond pleased I did this and couldn’t recommend it enough, you can slightly see scars but I haven’t done anything to help them yet (silicone sheets, gels, laser) I might at some point but I’m just as happy leaving as they are hence why I’ve been in no rush to sort. Other questions I get - you can slightly feel the permanent stitches if to press down hard enough but not really, my partner has never felt them. I went to dr Omar Tillo In London. I probably would have it done again as I loved my after result a lot before settling, I knew it would settle about 1cm or so due to the amount that was removed (see before pic) he did absolutely amazing and I love my results now but if I fancied it I know I can go smaller again as there’s a lot lot less to remove this time so no ruckling to settle etc

ONE YEAR POST OP!
mlpmbJanuary 5, 2023
So it is my one year post op, I can’t believe how quickly it’s gone. Although it’s been slightly challenging at times I actually enjoyed my whole experience even though on the day I was terrified! Best trip to London out of the many times I’ve been!
Since my last update it hasn’t really changed I’m assuming this is how it will likely stay give or take a bit of movement. A part of me wants another surgery but that’s not due to me being unhappy i just know I could be even happier. A few days after my last update I also found a lump in my breast which was pretty scary being immediately seen and sent to the hospital for screening in less than a week at 21 yrs old but thankfully I got the all clear, weird things breasts but I am so thankful for my health and new found confidence. I couldn’t recommend it enough tbh I loved everything from the consultation, surgery and results.

Hi, I have responded to the same question on this post, I have only ever received a normal areola reduction, nothing else

amazing really! just went through all of your review and thank u so much for sharing ur experience. what makes u want another surgery? what do y wanna change?
i had 2 consultations with dr tillo until now. i'm just really scared about the local anesthesia, was that hard for u at all? i get really anxious. the price has went up to 3700 so that's also very steep for me. and the cost if i add sedation would be the best option of me but it's 5700 which i can't afford. i'm scheduled to do it in early April but i can't decide what to do.

You are most welcome! I'd be perfectly happy if I didn't have the surgery again, but we knew from the start that it will settle from the stitches dissolving and the ruckling going and add a cm or so but I grew to love them even more when they were very first done. I love them now but if I was to be super picky and if I had the money id get them done so they would be the same size as they were at the start after my surgery as it would be a achievable to get them to stay that size as there wouldn't be so much removed the second time. I'm a super anxious person, really bad especially with anaesthesia, but it was actually so easy, you have the curtain in front of you and you can't see a thing (I had a AirPod in too to distract myself) slight scratch feeling but honestly my tiny tattoo hurt more! All you could feel after was tugging. I of course know that I don't know you or how you handle things but I myself struggle a lot with health / medical anxiety and the day before I was getting so nervous that I'd freak out and wouldn't be able to do it but it's such a smooth and easy surgery, the team were amazing too, they give you as much or as little information about what's going on in the moment too. I wouldn't go for sedation as once your in there the anxiety actually somewhat goes as you realise it's not too bad. I'd love to know how it goes for you! so nice hearing other people's experiences especially as I know dr Tillo is amazing. It really has changed my life as silly as it sounds

Just to add a bit of clarity, when I said about stitches dissolving I meant the superficial ones, I have permanent ones too

Hi! Results looks fantastic, thanks so much for sharing! I am looking into getting the same surgery on only one side, however what's putting me off is the scarring. Would you mind telling me how noticeable your scaring is now? Would someone else realise there's a scar there if they didn't know? Thanks!

Thank you so much ! I think if you look hard enough, at "good scarring" you'd be able to tell there is a difference still. But minimally and that's if you don't use silicone sheets, gels or do any laser treatments. So you can make it very camouflaged

hello, your results are amazing! would it be possible to upload a recent updated picture to see the change over time? do you think they have stretched since the results 3months ish? has this stretch continued or was it just until they settled? do you often wear a bra or go bra less? do you do exercise that would cause pull e.g running? did you use any creams or oils to help with recovery? sorry lots of questions! xx
July 6, 2023
sorry for so many questions and comments, i wish there was a way to message privately because i appreciate it takes a lot of confidence to share your story on here! do you think you could give a bit more information about stretch etc? that's my main concern. also would you be able to post a recent picture to see how the results are now after over a year? thank you so much! x
July 18, 2023
Thank you! If you look hard enough then yeah slightly, but this isn't something I've done anhthing about, I had planned to use silicone scar gels/sheets etc but I'm still super happy and confident without, but it can be less visible if you use products/laser

Hi! Thank you so much! I've added a new update, I wouldn't say they stretched at all, just settled. I tend to wear a bra, not a proper one usually just a bralette but that's just preference because of how my breasts sit but I do go braless a fair amount. I have done running and had no problems I always wear a good sports bra even beforehand but had absolutely no affect on my results xx

No worries at all! I'm more than happy to answer any questions! The best advise I think I can give to stop stretching is to wear the surgical bra for slightly longer than they suggest, I didn't even realise because it just became second nature and didn't even realise, I thought I'd be raring to get it off but it wasn't bad at all. For me personally, no stretch at all just settling as intended due to the amount I had removed to start with xx

10 Month Update
mlpmbNovember 3, 2022
It’s been 10 months since my areola reduction. Not much has changed since my last update. Still so so happy with my decision, I never used to be able to look at myself in the mirror without feeling disgusted but I actually feel so confident and sexy almost now. Happy to answer any questions!
