Good surgeon is a key. I had a surgery with a bad outcome about 2 years ago, and got it fixed just several weeks ago. It is scary to risk it all again! Make sure you have a best revision-specialized & honest doctor...
I think to reduce your areolae you will have to have to go with a smaller breast implant size. If you go bigger, areolae will stretch even more, they are stretchy bustards....Small areolae are cute, but small boobs aren't always ideal. More people see whole dressed figure.
For higher breasts I think there have to be a lift, therefore more scars...

I had a very similar experience, `3 lifts later, I had my implants removed last year with a view to a final lift once my breasts had settled. I have now just been told that I'm high risk for nipple death. My areola are so stretched and scarred and my breasts are so flat, I'm devastated and not sure how to go forward as I want to keep my nipples :(
