Severe Nerve Damage

Since my treatment I had severe head and ear pressure, blurry vision followed by full body nerve pain. I have been to hospital a few times but no one knows what to do for me I am currently seeing a neurologist who is helping with my nerve damage and it seems to be getting worse every day I cannot work or walk very far. Ladies please don’t get this done.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I am looking into the procedure for my jawline but am now thinking twice about it. May I ask where you got the injections (face, body, etc)? Also what clinic did you go to?

I had the treatment on the neck and both arms. If you are looking into this I would suggest an allergy test and wait a few months and see how your body reacts to it I wish I did this first as my body did not filter this out well and I have been left with a lot of damage. I had this done at youthify.net uk based clinic. There are other people who have been through similar things search kybella losing my eyesight on google

Sorry you're going through this have things improved? Did your neurologist find out what is going on? I've been going through this after my injection for about 2 years but things are starting to get better now. I ended up going to lots of drs and none of them even knew what aqualyx is or what it does and kept passing me to the next dr to get checked. I went through what you're going through (blurred vision, nerve pain/sensations, struggled walking) but I also had really severe dizziness. 3 months ago I found a dr who said I might have inherited EDS and the injection did something to start it off I'm in my 40's and had no problems before all this. I started treatment and each day I seem to be better now. If the drs can't find out whats causing it try asking them about this as you could be going through what I am x

Sorry to hear you are going through the same thing, has the nerve tingling stopped? My story is similar to yours the neurologist ruled out other illnesses like ms then referred me back to the gp for more blood tests which didn’t show anything other than high cholesterol which I blame on the treatment as well. I have had multiple diagnosis ranging from anxiety to chronic fatigue the latest being joint hyper mobility which is similar to EDS. I was offered a ketamine infusion and started physio however I ended up giving up on that because my physio didn’t believe I had it. What kind of treatment have you been having? I’m guessing you had it in the neck due to the dizziness, did you have it anywhere else?

Sorry I didn't see your message. The nerve tingling got better when I kept up with physio and I don't notice it now only sometimes it does come back when I'm really tired but after I get some rest it's gone again and my walking is back to normal. At the start I did have trouble walking and had to have some time off work but the dr recommended I went to occupational therapy to manage that which did help, it slowly got easier since then. I haven't had high cholesterol. I had the injections in the neck just under my ear and jawline and in my arms but the dr didn't think the dizziness was caused by the injection, he said it's most likely down to my body's reaction to the injection like an allergic reaction. The dr said the dizziness may have been made worse by my diet with all this going on in my body and eating healthier did help me to get rid of it. How long did you do physio for before you stopped? If it's similar to EDS it did take me around 3 months to start noticing my symptoms fade and it took another 3-4 months before I started to feel myself again x

Im glad you are feeling better, I only tried the physio for a few weeks before giving up but after reading your comment I might start it again and try for longer this time. I am currently off work and suffering with terrible fatigue. I had a bit of dizziness at the beginning, the dr said it was to do with the crystals in my ears and prescribed me Betahistine which got rid of it after a few days. Did you ever have a CT scan of your neck? Did they find anything unusual?

The physio is part of my daily routine now, it was really hard at the start but it got easier the longer I did it and it really is night and day now from where I was 10 months ago, you should give it another try for longer and see if that helps with your fatigue, it sound like what I went through. When I first told the dr I had strange tingles round my body the dr wanted to rule out ms so sent me to the hospital to have a neurological exam and mri scans but they both came back clear, none of the drs talked about ct scan to me x

This sounds terrible for both of you and really worries me. I had aqualyx in my hips a week ago and I still have pain where I was injected (no bruising and healed well). I have also started to get a shooting pain down my right hip into my leg and I'm worried about nerve damage after reading these reviews

Sorry to hear you are going through this, what did your injector say? I would suggest getting it liposuctioned out before it causes any more damage.
