Aqualyx on jowls and lower cheeks

Hi, thought I'd journal my journey as I couldn't find many diaries on this myself. So I've always had a chubby lower face and excess fat above my jawline / jowl area despite being very young and slim. I've already had buccal removal and under chin lipo but neither could target the fat on and above my jawline / jowl. So I had 1 vial (idk why he didn't do more sadly, I wish he had?) of aqualyx 40 hours ago. Ok so it's not something to be undertaken lightly. The swelling and downtime is the SAME as with liposuction. (So if yours is an area where lipo is possible - go for lipo!!! As aqualyx can only dissolve tiny amounts of fat per go, yet has the same downtime...). Immediately after, my face looked bit bigger than normal but the main swelling comes a few hours later & then gets worse. Right now my face looks abserd. There's no way I could go out in public, thankfully I've booked 9 days off work. I'm worrying 9 days won't be enough. I look like I have a ping pong ball in each side of my bottom jaw. It doesn't hurt (it hurts a lot for the first 2 hrs after it's done - I had to go buy painkillers). So I'm just keeping elevated to try to help the swelling , resting and doing not very much. I'll update again tomorrow (will be day 3 tomorrow)

In about 5 hrs it’ll be exactly 5 days after. The swelling has improved rapidly, much quicker than for other procedures I’ve had but then I did only have 1 vial. I still don’t want to see anyone I know though, my lower cheeks still look unusually large but in public it could now pass for just a really fat face rather than a craaaazy deformity (as with day 1, 2 & to an extent 3). The bruising is now worse, a yellowish hue all over it. In 2 days I have to go home and see people I know so hoping it keeps improving :/ slightly concerning, people will probably think ‘i swear her face didn’t used to be so fat’. Pain is nil (as long as don’t touch it), can eat normally etc (eating is a bit difficult for the first 24 hrs).

It’s not really changing which is worrying as I’m going home tomorrow to people I know. Bruising is almost gone but still so swollen. Swelling migrates downwards so I now also have a double chin I never had before as well. I think after the initial crazy swellling (where you look like a circus freak) dies down, the residual swelling (where you look like an obese faced person) goes down muchhh sloooweeerrr. :(. I’m thinking I might tell people I’m ill with tonsillitis (hence swollen glands / face) and hide in bed for a few more days when I get home.
