Went for my apt with PS on July 15. Everything is healing nicely. I need to be more aggressive in massaging my right breast (the smaller) one to decrease scar buildup and help with the wrinkling on the outer side. He said the left breast implant was ruptured and he did the explant and lift on that side first, thus when he came to the right side, there was not enough tissue as on the left, and thus the smaller outcome. I still am pleased with the way I feel and look in dresses and tops. My next apt will be April 14, 2016 for a year eval. He again suggested supplementing the right side possibly with an implant (are you kidding me)??? Or he mentioned fat transfer from my abdomen. At this point in time, I am not going under the knife again.

I have my 3 month appt with PS on July 15. The right breast has "fluffed" out a bit, but still not even in size to the left one. Not sure at this time if I want anymore surgery. I feel he should have evened them out at the time of explant and lift. I can't imagine having someone build a house, and having the structure uneven, thus, I feel the PS should have been more meticulous. The main thing is that I feel great, and my husband doesn't mind the difference in breasts. I appreciate any comments or suggestions from any of you ladies to help me with this situation. Thanks so much!!!

I know what you mean about PS should have evened them out. Same thing happened to me with just a lift. With that being said, you look great. And I feel that I'm 58 years old so leave well enough alone. I was thinking of fat transfer but I don't want all that pain and more money out of my pocket. How do you feel about them? What did the doc say when you told him you weren't entirely happy? Everyone on this site have all been so nice and helpful.

Just to clarify, When I said I know what you mean I wasn't referring to you, I was referring to the PS.

When I go for my apt on July 15, I will definitely talk to him about it. I am very happy I had it done, and I do feel I look better in my dresses and tops than before, it's just that I don't like seeing them when naked, but its not like I live in a nudist colony. LOL I feel so free now and they don't get in the way as they did when I had the implants.

I ended up with the same "creases" in the fold area after my explant and lift, but I didn't expect perfection after all my breasts have been through over the last 31 years. You would have ended up even smaller if your PS "evened" them out. My PS explained this to me, too. I think you look so much better than your before photos. See how they change after 6 months. You may be surprised. :)

You look great ! I think it takes time for things to settle. Enjoy your freedom!!!

Thanks so much for your encouragement. I do think I look better than before, and I'm hoping the right one will catch up with the left somehow.

Let us know what he says. I like that part about the nudist colony. I feel the same way with mine, no one sees the lopsidedness besides me. You can tell a little in my clothes and especially my bathing suit. My skin just doesn't seem to have much elasticity and since i had stretch marks i think they are already starting to sag from where the stretch marks are. Good luck at the appointment. I think you look great.

Went for my 3-wk post treatment appointment yesterday. I have healed very well. Was told I can wear regular bras now. I was recommended Mederma to use on the scars and massage my breasts about 2/day for 2-3 minutes. I have a little fluid build-up on the left, but nothing too serious where I needed it drained. PS said the massaging would help. He also told me in the next few months I would more than likely feel a few sharp twinges, or a burning sensations, which is normal as everything inside tries to mend. I am no longer restricted from taking Yoga or any other exercise classes. He said I should take it easy though. My right breast is still a bit smaller than the left, but since there is the fluid build-up, it is hard to see what size it is without the fluid. I have purchased several Warner's bras and love the comfortable feeling. They are not padded, but I am still looking for padded bras I can wear for certain outfits. It is a little hard getting used to being smaller on the top, but the way I feel inside is awesome. No more rashes on my neck from wearing jewelry or spraying perfume on my neck. No aches in my knees or ankles after
spinning classes. PS said the implants were pretty nasty looking when he removed them. No wonder I felt the way I did. There is definitely a relation to health in having those foreign things in your body. My next appt. is mid July. PS said we would see quite a change in the breasts - for the better. All I can say is I had implants placed many years ago because a guy I was with at the time loved big boobs. Had I known what would happen down the road, I would have told him to "hit the road yourself," or told him to get a penis implant!!:)

I love it!!! You are so right. I wish I had told the jerk to hit the road...but no, I married him! Talk about crazy. Therapy helped me a few years later. I had to learn to trust my instincts and to value myself more. And yes, we got divorced and now I'm married 20 years to a wonderful man. I have God to thank for that. Blessings to you. I'm so glad you are doing well. Dove

Your story is so interesting to me as my right breast is also smaller. My PS actually took some tissue from my left during surgery to try and even out but there is still a difference. Over all I am very happy just a couple little things. My right breast also seems to be stuck to the wall a bit and the upper pole is less full. That is the side I had a CC on though so I attribute it to that. Not sure though

My PS seems to think he can do some liposuction and fill in on the right breast. I asked how much, but he said we'll wait and see. I don't understand why they couldn't be more symmetrical, especially when he is a specialist. I really don't want to spend any more money on this. It is not noticeable at all when I wear a bra. I thought it might "cave in" on the right, but it doesn't. I did some gardening with my flowers today, and usually when I would stand up from kneeling for any length of time, I would feel it in my back, not so this time!!!! It's so amazing how much better I feel. I only wish I would have had them explanted years ago, or just not had them period.

I didn't have implants but had a breast lift and ended up with asymmetrical breasts too. He sad they were that way in the beginning. Well why didn't he take more out of the right then. Ugh! I don't want to spend more money either. I don't want implants and lip looks too painful.

And I used to be bigger too. Now I'm very small and assymetrical and cry. It's hard being so much smaller. How are you doing?

June 25, 2015
I can't understand when a person is a professional reconstructive surgeon, that he can't make the breasts more symmetrical during surgery. I'm thinking he did the left breast first, then when he came to the right breast, noticed there wasn't as much to work with, but that seems like a crazy assumption. At any rate, I refuse to pay for any more "corrective surgery" which should have been done right the first time. I didn't see a "satisfaction guarantee" clause when I was signing the paperwork, which really gets the PS off the hook if the results are less than perfect.

Lucky you! Looking forward to seeing more pictures. Have a question for you. When a woman has an explant we hear about all the fluffing. When we have both and explant and a lift well we still experience fluffing? Did you talk to talk to you about? Thanks

Amen, sister! Explant was April 9th, and I'm so happy with my tiny tatas.
